Story
We adopted Misty as a puppy for our daughter. She is a loving dog, very eager to be with people. The problem is, we simply don't have enough time to keep her as active as she wants to be. She is not destructive, just wants to be with us and play more than we really want. We love her, but feel that she would be happier in a more active home. Misty likes to play with other dogs, although sometimes she can be hesitant. Once she gets used to the other dog and is allowed to play, she likes to run and play chase. She does have an issue with active children as she is a herding breed. Kids tend to make her nervous. She prefers women to men, but generally likes everyone as long as they don't encroach on her space too quickly. She can be reactive. Misty has had training with Big Paws of the Ozarks and has an e-collar which she works well with.

URGENT Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Rogers, AR *This dog doesn’t belong to ASF and hasn’t been evaluated by ASF.* Meet Taz! He is an 1 year old Australian Shepherd/Blue Heeler mix and weighs 48 lbs. He is neutered, up to date on shots, and on heartworm prevention. Taz is nervous around strangers, but warms up after a while! He is good with younger children and dogs! He hasn’t been tested around older children or cats. Taz is housebroken and crate-trained. The owner is surrendering him because they are moving and can’t take him with. He needs to go immediately! If you think you can provide a great home for Taz, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $100 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Taz. Story
This is Georgie. Georgie is a 6mo female. Her mama is a Mini Australian Shepherd and (we think) her Dad is an Australian Heeler. She is an active and very playful dog! Georgie girl is really fun and loves to play with dogs and kids. Unfortunately she bites, so I cannot have her around my children, and sadly she’s unable to roam free in my home. She is vaccinated, microchipped, crate trained, and very smart, so would pick up commands quickly. If you have the time and energy to train her, she’ll be a dream dog! Sweet Georgie just needs love (she loves cuddles!), a little space, and could also be a great farm dog if given the chance!

Story
Cruz is a lovable 2-year-old with a big heart. He has been doing great in foster care, showing off his crate training, potty training, and polite walking skills. Cruz enjoys his walks and has met a cat without batting an eye, choosing to focus on his people instead. This friendly guy has been affectionate and social with adults he has met so far. Cruz is especially motivated by food-based enrichment and gets very excited when treats are involved, sometimes popping up with happy jumps to get closer. In low-light settings, Cruz can be a bit unsure and has been known to bump into things, so he is most comfortable when his world is bright and well lit. With his joyful spirit and affectionate nature, Cruz brings smiles wherever he goes.
