Story
Meet Otis 💕 Otis is a very special senior boy who is looking for a compassionate person to give him the love he deserves. Our veterinarian estimates he's at least 10 years old. He's heartworm positive, has very few teeth left, and has some special medical needs—but don't let that fool you. Otis isn't currently sick and still enjoys life as the sweet, calm, loving gentleman he is. We're hoping to find either a long-term foster or a forever adopter for this precious boy. We will cover his medical expenses within reason, and if he tolerates it well, we'll work with our veterinarian on a slow-kill heartworm treatment. Otis has been through a lot, and now he deserves the comfort of a soft bed, gentle hands, and a family to love him for whatever time he has left. If you have room in your heart and home for this wonderful boy, please reach out. Let's give Otis the happy ending he's been waiting for. ❤️

Story
Fiona is delicate, loving, playful, and adores attention. We have nicknamed her”Princess Fiona” because of her proper personality. She is beautifully unique dog with one brown eye and one blue eye!She loves to run the yard, but she also loves to be held and snuggled. We live on a rural road known for having animals dumped, and Fiona was one of those dogs. After having her we cannot imagine why! She is great with adults, children and other dogs (as long as she has proper introductions) We have 8 fosters due to dogs being dumped, and our inability to see them not taken care of, along with 7 permanent dogs that are all rescues. We love Fiona and know she is ready to find her furever humans! Our best guess is she is about 3 years old. She has no health issues, she is the perfect medium size dog.

Story
Meet Gizmo – A Sweet, Loyal Companion Looking for His Forever Home Gizmo is an almost 2-year-old Mini Australian Shepherd with a gentle heart and a playful spirit. He’s a smart boy who loves learning new tricks especially when treats are involved! He already knows commands like sit, paw, and no, and nothing gets him excited than hearing, “Do you want to go outside?” Gizmo can be a little shy when meeting new people or exploring new places, so he’ll need a family that’s willing to give him time to settle in. Once he trusts you, he becomes an incredibly loyal, affectionate companion who loves being by your side. He has lots of energy and enjoys playing fetch with tennis balls or his favorite stuffed toys. He also loves going for walks, running, and visiting the dog park. Gizmo would thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard where he can play and burn off his energy. Gizmo is house-trained, fixed, intelligent and eager to learn.

Story
Monty is a great name for a great dog like me ;) I have the Monty Python kind of humor... goofy and sweet! But, don't mess with my crate! That really is my only "pet: peeve!! I was found on the streets 2 years ago and was adopted as a pup... however, I became the boss in the house and didn't like anyone entering the house that I didn't know :( SO..... Back to the rescue, because they won't give up on me!! So here I am and I have really adjusted to the environment and new people meeting me and treats and lots of love. AND the crew here basically has determined that I need a family/adopters that will be in charge of the house. Someone I can trust to protect me so I don't have to!! I am vocal in my crate, so my crate needs to be away from the common areas so I can relax and not meet everyone that stops by. Once I settle into my new home I will follow your lead! I am a gorgeous boy, with caramel and milk chocolate highlights in my soft fur. I want to please my family and go on all kinds of adventures! I am awesome out and about, meeting new people and new friends :D I hope you will look into my eyes, the windows to my soul, and see the HOPE I have to find my own home again! The rescue is great because I got a second chance, but I REALLY want a home!! Local adoption only $300 (in TX)
