I’m Dover, a 22-pound boy who came to the shelter as a stray, and while I may be adorable as can be, I’m still learning that the world is a safe place. I can be a little nervous at first, but I warm up with time and am gaining confidence every day—I really do enjoy attention once I feel comfortable. Everything feels pretty new to me, so I’ll need a patient family who respects my boundaries and lets me move at my own pace as I settle in. I’m gentle, sweet, calm, and laid back, and I settle quickly, but I also enjoy playing with other dogs. I’m already learning to sit and showing just how smart I am, and with a little guidance, I’ve got TONS of potential to grow into an amazing companion.

Hi, I’m Boogie! When I’m at home, I’m my calm, sweet self—happy to curl up in my crate or trot around without getting into anything I shouldn’t. I’m proud to say I’m potty trained, too. I love my people, other dogs, and even cats, and once I know someone, my playful side really shines. But I’ll admit, the world outside can feel a little big sometimes. New places and strangers make me nervous, and I’m still working on this whole leash‑walking thing. I’m trying my best, though, and I feel braver every day. A fenced yard would be lovely for exploring, but I don’t need one to be happy. Mostly, I just want a gentle home where I can be the beautiful, loving girl I know I am.
