Story
We adopted snickers from a young family who is having a baby not able to deal with her other dogs last snickers at the time. Unfortunately, our family dynamic is changing And we are no longer able to house her. We love snickers she extremely sweet and lovable. She loves to play pet and run around freely. She gets along with all sizes of dogs. We have a pug and a great Pyrenees as well as cats. Snickers does like to guard her food so we make sure we feed her separately. Snickers is deaf. Understand some simple commands with sign language and she enjoys following either you or one of the other animals around thehouse. She does not like the dark. At night time she needs to be walked on a leash if you do not have a yard or walked outside with you besides so she can go to the bathroom and feel safe. She’s a very happy dog and very easy to care for. She does have very sensitive skin. She receives allergy medicine. I’m in the process of having her receive the allergy shot.

Story
Hunk Alert! This hunk of love is sweet cuddly Cole! Doesn't he look like a huggable loveable? Cole is an approximately 5 year old, 60 poundish, black tri color, bobtailed Aussie boyo. Foster Mom says joyful super duper 'so happy to see you' whole body wiggles are a Cole speciality! Cole came to the rescue from a breeding situation. He likely spent a lot of time outside and is waiting for the One who will give him the happy home and hearth he deserves. The handsome hunk has lots of hugs and heart to share. Cole knows his house manners. He enjoys being outdoors. The happy boy adores zig-zag zoomies in the fenced yard with his calm and playful fur fellows. After some run around fun, Cole is ready for downtime dozing and cozy cuddling. He's definitely a My Person pup. He doesn't get felines-the're odd mannered. He's just a little wary of the them and tends to avoid the foster home kitties. It's a live and let them situation. The boy is pretty near perfect. Cole's a typical Aussie aussome-medium energy, with a lot of smarts and spirit. The key to his cool Coleness-always happy, happy, HAPPY to see the ones who have earned his heart. He's just a hunk of love looking for his One. Cole needed a few weeks to decompress when he first came to Foster Mom. She gave him space and time to observe his surroundings. His crate is his haven when things get a bit overwhelming-too many things going on, too much noise. He would growl a bit, but his Foster family understood. Consistency, gentle coaxing, treats and even some 'Good Boy' wooing and cooing helped him feel more confident and secure. The Person who decides they're meant for Cole will have a patient, optimistic, and positive mindset-ready to give him time and training. Cole deserves to be Someone's 'Good Boy'. When his trust is won, the reward is a loyal companion, sidekick and a lifetime of sweetness and snuggles. Cole's Forever After? Cole doesn't need much and deserves the best. Folks looking for a friend to keep them company, a companion to hang out with in the backyard or have near while streaming, will love Cole. Cole would do best with a calm and confident canine mate to share life with and learn dog ways from. Kiddos 10 and up who respect dogs well, will appreciate Cole. A fenced in back yard is best as, especially in early days, the pooch needs a secure place to go to and be active in. Cole should have easy access to a crate to retreat in, especially during decompression and transition. Multiresidential buildings (such as apartments) are not a good fit for this pup. Our adopters give their new family member time to decompress, grow familiar with the new environment/routine and invest time to train. They're committed to slow monitored introductions with new people, especially children, other animals, and places. The Colester wiggled by to say: 'I'm ready to be by your side Forever. I'mma hunk of love!' Is this sweetheart meant to be your Good Boy? If so, please fill out an application at the link below to be considered as a possible adopter. (Only COMPLETELY answered applications will be considered.) https://www.emailmeform.com/builder/form/dDNce9yr0ChU0F -Fostered in Greater Cincinnati area-20 minutes away in Boone County, KY *Read the bio carefully. Priority will be given to instate or border state approved adopters for Cole. Adoption Fee: $350

Story
Maui the Minxie! This lil sprite is Maui. Maui is an approximately 7 month old Aussie mix gal (maybe husky?). Maui minxie has lots of puppy energy, smarts, and super sweetness. Maui and her littermates were found abandoned by the the side of the road. A good Samaritan or two helped get them into rescue. Now? Now they, like Maui, are ready and raring to get to their Forever Home! Maui is overflowing with personality. She's a gal who knows her own mind. At the top, is P-L-A-Y. Maui LOVES tug-of-war style games and romping with her puppy pal. She puppy grrs and barks as she frolics about. Squeaky toys are an invitation for happy howls and Foster Mama can't help but laugh at this joyful gal's antics! The minxie will leap into the air and pounce on her toy, or on her furry friend. When her puppy sister is ready for a nap, Maui doesn't hesitate to coax big foster brother (the resident golden) to join her. She does know when it is chill time and listens respectfully when big bro or Foster Mama call "time out". Foster Mama says the minxie is as responsive as she is bright. Maui is made to go-she's an independent, high energy, intelligent and responsive spirit. (Maui learned "sit" in a minute). The puppy already comes when she is called. She's a likely candidate for doggie sports-like, agility, flyball, Fast CAT. Maui could be trained by her heart human to be a great trail buddy, running companion or car co-pilot. Maui travels well in her carrier in the golf cart-but her preference is being held so she can see everything and take it all in. The world is a fascinating place. Maui has all the sweet-heart to match her play-game! Foster Mama calls Maui a "Heart Melter" with her soul filled eyes and cuteness. Cuddles and snuggles are Maui's next favorite thing after play. The pupper patters right over to her Person when it's time to be held. Pets and Tummy Rubs elicit gremie growls of contentment. The sprite is on target for learning house manners, but, of course, she's still a pup in training. Where is Maui's Forever After? This lil fairy princess will do best in a home with active folks-people who like to see and do and bring their fur family member along. Maui's Forevers have TONS of BIG love to give to this little one along with the fun and games. She does great with the kiddoss she's met, we think dog savvy youngsters 8 and up will be great. A fun fur bud her size or so would be perfect. Maui hasn't been tested around felines yet. Her People will want to teach her appropriate boundaries with small critters and keep an eye on her interactions with them Whomever wants to add Maui to their home will have to be familiar with herding breeds and understand their need for hands-on-training, things to do, and their social "part of the family" nature. A fenced in yard is preferred but may not be necessary for the very experienced herding home. Maui is bright eyed and ready to take on the world with her Best Friend by her side-lovingly showing her the best life a dog and human can have. Multiresidential buildings (such as apartments) are not a good fit for this pup. The best adopters give their new family member time to decompress and grow familiar with a new environment and routine. They see the importance of investing time to understand their dog and build a bond of trust and provide steady, reasonable guidance and training. An adopter commits to slow and monitored introductions with new people, especially children, other animals, and new places. If you have the time to give and are ready to experience all that comes with a puppy, the joys and the training, as well as the possible normal growing 'oopsies' like chewing, potty accidents, and puppy nips or nibbles, please apply with that in mind. Maui sparkles, 'I'm ready to be your number one girl, happily ever after!' Is Maui your little Minxie? If so, fill out an application at the link below to be considered as a possible adopter. (Only COMPLETELY answered applications will be considered.) https://www.emailmeform.com/builder/form/dDNce9yr0ChU0F -Fostered in FL, Hernando County. Malia, lil Pixette! This pretty pixie is Malia. Malia is an approximately 7 month old Aussie mix girlie (husky?). Malia pretty much lives up to her name: she's a darling loving, playful little bitsy with a gentle soul. Malia and her littermates were found abandoned by the the side of the road. A good Samaritan or two helped get them into rescue. Now? Now they, like our Malia, are ready and raring to get to their Forever Home! Mellow Mali has all the clever cuteness you'd expect. The pix loves to play, (of course!) and enjoys frolics with her puppy playmate. Malia grunts and growlies as she tugs with her toys. Toytime is funtime. And...a basket of stuffies is the perfect place for a girl to chill. Malia's Sweetest Spot though is in the arms of her Lucky Human. Foster Mama says Malia is such a cuddly, snuggly poppy. "She's too adorable!" Mali galie is the one to love on, and cozy up with at the end of a busy day. A Heart dog brings balance to a sometimes chaotic world. Belly rubs make Malia soo happy! She affectionately and gently nibbles on toys or fingers-all is good in Malialand. The pup poddles over to be picked up and sprinkle pixie dust kisses while she's held. Malia's very responsive, comes when she's called and learns quickly.("Sit" on the first try for a tasty tidbit!) She hangs out in an enclosed area when the family is out. And...has been known to find an escape route out. Lol. Her Future Besties will help Malia learn when to stay and where to go. Like all herding dogs, clever girl will enjoy puzzles and interactive games. Out and abouts on the golf cart are Super Cool-she rides contentedly in her carrier. The pixie is on target for learning house manners, but, of course, she's still a pup in training. Malia's Forever After? Our girly will love to have Someone to love on her! Her Fortunate Forevers must have TONS of BIG love to give and will receive all her pixie dusted kissies in return. Malia's Forevers will give her time and train her to direct her puppy nibblings as she grows. Malia's done fine with kiddos she's met, 8 and up who respect dogs will be great. A dog bestie of similar temperament and size would also be nice. Malia hasn't been around kitties yet. Her People will want to monitor her around small critters and teach her appropriate boundaries. She does great with the kiddos she's met, we think dog savvy youngsters 8 and up will be great. Whomever wants to add Malia to their home will have to be familiar with herding breeds and understand their need for hands-on-training, things to do, and their social "part of the family" nature. A fenced in yard is preferred but may not be necessary for the very experienced herding home. Malia is a pixie pop of gentle, playful, and clever. Foster Mama said it best- Malia's precious face reveals her intelligence and temperament, "Pick me up and love me forever!" Story
This. Is. Beauty. She likes to boogie! Beauty's a 3 year oldish black bicolor, 45 poundish, Aussie girl with a boppin' bobtail. Foster Mom says she's a lovable, smart, silly girl who boogies her bouncy bootay when she's happy and leaps and bounds when she's excited! Nothing gets this gal bouncin' like playing with ball in the backyard. (Chuck-it! and Kong Squeak Air balls are favorites.) Beauty's a bit of an Independent-this lass knows what she likes. She prefers to come to you when she's ready for all the pets and ear scratches. Impulsive huggies and squeezies aren't her thing. Beauty will be a fantastic companion for most anyone who wants a dog to love and hang out with. There's nothing like being welcomed home by your pup's "so happy to see you!" face and little bopping bobtail telegraphing her joy. Beauty's affection and sense of security will grow as she learns confidence and trust with a patient, loving Person. The darling is very responsive to direction-calm calls and gentle correction is all that is needed. Happy tones bring out that wiggle waggle butt-joy. Slow and steady is the best way to make lifelong bonds with Beauty. Learning to walk on leash-still a work in progress. Foster Mom is working with her. Beauty's Adopter will want to keep training her. Car rides aren't a current favorite pastime-they can cause a lil tummy upset. Beauty initially displayed resource guarding with the other canines in her Foster home-it got better as she settled in. Still, her Person will want to give her consistent boundaries and guidance on acceptable manners over time and feed her separately from any other pooches. Beauty needs a little time to decompress and learn her new environment. Can you give her the gift of patience and time? When folks are away, Beauty prefers to be in her crate. She has no problem with chilling in it for a few hours when she's home alone. So, who are Beauty's People? For this sweet, smart, independent gal-a calm, optimistic Home with Folks who believe a dog makes a house a home. (She isn't meant for anyone looking for a cuddly lap dog.) Happy and loving tones bring out Beauty's best in loving and learning. Beauty is around other pups and kids in the Foster home, but given her slow warmup, no other dogs, or just one calm, confident, canine pal might be nice. For kiddos-gentle, respectful of dogs, 13 and up might love her best. Kitties are a puzzle, so she is fine without felines. A quieter home, without lots of visitors is ideal for this gal. Beauty's looking for a place to chill most of the day with her Person, toss a few balls in the backyard, and maybe learn to walk on leash or hike on quiet paths after further training. In turn, she'll give lots of bootay boogies and love. Herding breed experience is helpful, but is not required for Adopters who have educated themselves on the Aussie breed. Because of her need for leash acclimation, and get-to-know-you time, a fenced in yard is preferred, but may not be necessary for very dog centric, hands on folks. Multiresidential buildings (such as apartments)and dog parks are not a good fit for this pup. The best adopters give their new family member time to decompress and grow familiar with a new environment and routine. They see the importance of investing time to understand their dog and build a bond of trust and provide steady, reasonable guidance and training. An adopter commits to slow, monitored introductions with new people, especially children, other animals, and new places. Beauty bounces by to say, 'Do we sound like a match? Let's boogie!'
