Story

Halo has one of the best personalities for a puppy that was previously scared of people. She is now an outgoing and loving girl that now follows her foster family around wanting attention. She loves to play with other dogs and puppies, doesn't pay attention to the cats in her foster home, loves food and treats, and is working on house training and crate training. She is a chunky little spit fire with the cutest little heart around her face. One of the funniest things that she does is grumble when she wants something or attention. First thing in the morning, she greets her foster family with tail wags, butt wiggles, and the cutest little grumble. Halo will be a great companion for any home that is willing to give her to love and attention she deserves. She will start out as a shy girl, but will blossom into a total sweetheart that loves you when she is given the time to adjust that she needs. Don't pass her up! Fosters are willing to meet within an reasonable distance to Glynn County, Ga with approved applicants.SGER FAQs:We are a 501c3 non profit rescue.Your information in our application is not shared and is protocol for adoption. Any medical conditions known are disclosed to the best of our ability. Adults are hw tested and status is disclosed. Please don't let HW positive dogs deter you. Please ask us and we will gladly explain the slow kill process! If you are out of state or out of area that is not a problem, we do offer relay transport for a small additional fee to cover health certificates required for private interstate travel and additional vetting required. We run solely on donations and house 100 plus dogs and 10 plus horses at any given time. Please be patient but if you do not hear from us within 48 hours of submitting your application please reach out. We are human and we do get very busy sometimes. Adoption fees range from $150 to $400 We do not offer discounts of any kind. Adoption fees are set fees and not negotiable. These fees help with vetting on current and future animals we take in. We do not offer walk through "choose a dog/puppy" type experience. This boy is full of energy and never wants to stop. He would do well with a family that is active or semiactive. He is a goofy baby that will go go go until he's ready to pass out. You will then find him in silly sleeping positions that don't look at all comfortable. He's food motivated and ready to find is forever family. He may start out a little shy since he was born and raised by his feral mama, but it won't take him long at all! He is ready to make you fall head over heels in love with him.Freddy hasn't been introduced to cats, but he is a young puppy that shouldn't have any problems.

Keyes was born to her feral mama a long with her 7 siblings. She is a very sweet girl that has a fun and outgoing personality. She may be a little shy to start with, but she will come out of her shell pretty quickly. Don't let her shyness deter you from adopting her, she is a wonderful girl that will make a family very happy.She hasn't been introduced to cats yet, but she is a young puppy and shouldn't have any issues.

Kelly has been in a foster home with her sister's Halo and Halsey for a few months now and is doing amazing! She is a total sweetheart that can be hesitant at first, but will quickly come to you once she knows she's safe. She has come a long way in the last few months and it really shows with how much she plays, follows her foster family around, and loves to accept treats from anyone that will offer them. She does okey on a leash (needs a little encouragement to get going), likes to sleep in a crate, uses a doggy door, and is just a good girl. Kelly and her siblings are all absolutely amazing puppies that have been passed up for months now. Please give them the chance to find their forever homes. Story

Halsey is a sweetheart, but tends to be on the shyer side around new people until she feels comfortable and safe with them. She has thrived in her foster home where she is around many other dogs, older kids, and many many cats. She is curious about the cats, but will leave them alone when redirected. She loves to snuggle with other dogs and the person she is most comfortable with (her foster dad right now). She will do great in a home where she is allowed to relax and adjust to her new home with love and patience.
