Story

Meet Roo. She is approx 3 yrs old and 32 lbs. Roo came to ASF from a hoarding situation and therefore was not socialized with people. She has been spayed and up to date on vaccinations. She has a beautiful black and white coat with a few freckles. She is very shy and timid around new people. It took her a few months to warm up to her foster family. She is great with other dogs. To help with her progress, she really needs to go to a home with a well balanced happy dog. She feeds off of the other dogs. If they are happy to see other people, she will be too. She loves to play with her younger foster brother. Roo is crate trained and housebroken (although she does have an accident on occasion if not taken out before going to bed). She never soils her crate. Roo is very sweet and is going to need a patient owner to allow her to come out of her shell at her pace. A fenced in yard is a requirement for Roo. Roo is fostered in Brunswick, Ga. Story

Halo has one of the best personalities for a puppy that was previously scared of people. She is now an outgoing and loving girl that now follows her foster family around wanting attention. She loves to play with other dogs and puppies, doesn't pay attention to the cats in her foster home, loves food and treats, and is working on house training and crate training. She is a chunky little spit fire with the cutest little heart around her face. One of the funniest things that she does is grumble when she wants something or attention. First thing in the morning, she greets her foster family with tail wags, butt wiggles, and the cutest little grumble. Halo will be a great companion for any home that is willing to give her to love and attention she deserves. She will start out as a shy girl, but will blossom into a total sweetheart that loves you when she is given the time to adjust that she needs. Don't pass her up! This boy is full of energy and never wants to stop. He would do well with a family that is active or semiactive. He is a goofy baby that will go go go until he's ready to pass out. You will then find him in silly sleeping positions that don't look at all comfortable. He's food motivated and ready to find is forever family. He may start out a little shy since he was born and raised by his feral mama, but it won't take him long at all! He is ready to make you fall head over heels in love with him.Freddy hasn't been introduced to cats, but he is a young puppy that shouldn't have any problems.

She may be a little shy to start with, but she will come out of her shell pretty quickly. Kelly has been in a foster home with her sister's Halo and Halsey for a few months now and is doing amazing! She is a total sweetheart that can be hesitant at first, but will quickly come to you once she knows she's safe. She has come a long way in the last few months and it really shows with how much she plays, follows her foster family around, and loves to accept treats from anyone that will offer them. She does okey on a leash (needs a little encouragement to get going), likes to sleep in a crate, uses a doggy door, and is just a good girl. Kelly and her siblings are all absolutely amazing puppies that have been passed up for months now. Please give them the chance to find their forever homes. Halsey is a sweetheart, but tends to be on the shyer side around new people until she feels comfortable and safe with them. She has thrived in her foster home where she is around many other dogs, older kids, and many many cats. She is curious about the cats, but will leave them alone when redirected. She loves to snuggle with other dogs and the person she is most comfortable with (her foster dad right now). She will do great in a home where she is allowed to relax and adjust to her new home with love and patience.

What we know about Willow A006235:(currently in a foster home but still in need of a forever home) -2 yo- 45lbs- Female (spayed)- UTD on shots- On Flea/Tick and heartworm prevention-Microchipped-HW status- HW+ (easily treated by any vet. Has completed a month of doxy and currently on HW preventative (slow kill HW treatment)-Dog Tested- Has done well with other dogs at the shelter. A meet and greet is always recommended for any potential furry siblings.-Cat Tested- Not been tested but can be done at request-Medium energy level. Loves to go on walks and get in the play yards to stretch her legs, but also loves to sunbathe and snuggle.-Walks well on a leash-House trained-This girl loves going out and about with her foster mom and is always well behaved.-Willow aims to please!
