Ruger is a beautiful, sweet and friendly boy who was owner surrendered after his mom became ill. He is reported to be 3 years old and weighs 27 lbs and good with children. He does not seem to like smaller dogs or cats. He will be available for adoption after he is neutered on 10/11/2023 but we are taking applications for him at this time. If you are interested in adopting, please go to pawspaws.org to complete the PAWS application. Once approved (usually between 24-48 hours), I will contact you to schedule a meet and greet. His adoption fee is $250. Thanks so much for your interest!

Layla - 3 year old Mini Aussie/Mini Pinscher mix female, approx. 20-25 poundsLayla is a beautiful girl looking for a warm home, full of presents and love for the holidays! She is a phenomenal dog who had a family that loved her very much, but things have happened and they can no longer keep her. She is sooooo smart and knows how to sit, lay down, shake, twirl and come when called! She will do anything for a treat and can even catch them in the air! The quickest way to her heart is asking if she wants to go for a ride because her answer is always YES! She will happily jump right in the car and sit in the passenger seat like the good girl she is! She gets along great with all other dogs and cats but would prefer a home without chickens. She is very loyal and will bond to her people quickly! She is not fond of strangers coming to the house so you are guaranteed to hear about it when someone pulls up. She does well off leash but a fenced in yard where she can have room to run and play would be great! She is fully house trained and kennel trained also! She would do best in a home with older kids since her herding instincts kick in and she wants to round them all up! She is a love bug and would sit in your lap all day if you let her! Her adoption fee is $250 and this will include her spay, 1 year Rabies vaccine, heartworm test and a microchip. Please call 618-833-4915 to come meet her! Thanks!
