Bayne is a 2-year-old Australian Shepherd mix weighing about 48 pounds who came to us as a stray with his brother, Zayne. While we don’t know much about his past, Bayne has shown himself to be a friendly, happy-go-lucky guy. He’s a little more reserved than his brother at first, but once he’s comfortable, Bayne is social, affectionate, and happy to be part of whatever’s going on. One of his most charming traits is his silly toothy grin. When Bayne is feeling good, he flashes a big smile that’s impossible not to love. Bayne enjoys the company of his brother, but he does not need to be adopted with Zayne. He'd likely love a canine companion in his future home. With his kind personality and lovable smile, Bayne is sure to win hearts wherever he goes. His minimum adoption fee is $300 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives. Peyton is an approx. 5-year-old Retriever/Australian Shepherd mix with a heart as soft as his fur. This sweet boy is incredibly cuddly and absolutely loves any kind of affection — pets, pats, scratches, hugs… if you’re offering, he’s accepting. Peyton is the ultimate sidekick and will happily stick close to you, leaning in to make sure you’re okay while gazing up with his soulful, longing eyes.Peyton already knows several commands, including sit, down/off, outside, and no begging. He’s mostly potty trained and has made huge progress in a short time. Coming from a background where the world was his bathroom, he’s doing GREAT and would be fully house-trained in no time. He currently lets you know he needs to go out by sitting at the door and will give a little scratch if you don’t notice right away.He isn’t a big fan of the crate, but with a little encouragement he’ll go in and settle just fine. Peyton can be a bit vocal, especially as he adjusts to a busy household or new environment, but this should improve as he continues to feel more secure.Peyton does well with children ages 4–10, as well as older kids and teens. He’s gentle, cautious, and watchful. He’s interested in other dogs of all sizes and can be confident and a bit domineering, so slow, proper introductions are important.This boy loves being outside and enjoys soaking up the fresh air. Miss Abby is such a gentle, loving soul and is great with her 14 puppy pals and nine foster homies. She doesn't require much - a soft bed and a little bit of attention. She was a stray and was found out in the middle of nowhere without much hope of survival. She is very calm and passive. Abby is housetrained using a doggy door, doesn't chew up household items or anything like that. She loves playing with the tiny puppies she lives with and is learning her sign language commands. Being in a foster home with so many foster siblings, her foster dad tries to teach them non-verbal communication. Abby is a beautiful girl who will make a great addition to any family.FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. Abby's adoption fee is $275.
