Prancer came to us from a shelter in Kentucky, where the staff couldn’t help but smile at his adorable prancing walk — and the name just stuck! True to his playful spirit, Prancer loves romping around with other dogs and would thrive in a home with a canine companion to share his fun. This sweet boy is as affectionate as he is active. He adores being with his people and will happily soak up all the love and attention you’re willing to give. Prancer is an outdoor enthusiast who would be overjoyed to have a yard to explore or a family who enjoys walks, hikes, and everyday adventures. The best part? Prancer is potty trained and has good house manners, making him an easy and wonderful addition to the right home. This handsome fellow and his siblings came in to rescue last winter after they were dumped on a back country road. Their mother was found deceased, so we took the puppies in to try to save them. They were very sick initially but are very healthy now. Big boy is a gentle boy but does love to run and play with other dogs. Big boy was the largest of the puppies, but his siblings have caught up to him. He has done amazing with his house and crate training. He is so deserving of a wonderful home to call his own. He is fostered in East TN, but transportation is included in the adoption fee and provided by Rescue Riders LLC. Please let me know if you have any questions. Destiny is fostered in Peoria, IL Although there is no such thing as “the perfect dog”, Destiny would easily land in the running, if not the top 3! Destiny is a black-tri colored Aussie that was born on January 20, 2019. At 7 years old and 63 lbs, she is fully grown and has already mastered basic commands, taking treats as gently as an angel’s kiss, and potty training. Not only is this wiggly girl well trained, but she also loves everyone and doesn’t believe in strangers. She is comfortable with other dogs and is happy to live with or without other dogs inthe home. She is great with children of all age, however she is still is a bit rambunctious, so monitoring her with smaller children is recommended. She has yet to meet any cats, but her comfortable nature around small dogs gives evidence that she would get along with cats as well. Destiny is no coach potato, but she has a great off switch and is content to lay near where her people are when not engaging in play and/or adventures. She is great on car rides and relaxed out in public, however she pulls a little on the leash and is currently learning to fix this behavior. It is recommended that Destiny have a fenced yard if being let out without supervision or the home is in a busy area, however, once the bond between Destiny and her people has been established, she can exhibit good recall skills. Some of Destiny’s unique quirks include her top-rated wiggle butt, enjoyment of collecting toys, love for butt scratches, stinginess with belly rubs, and her neverending supply of hugs and kisses! Her weakness? She is a master garbage thief, so it is recommended to have solid receptacles with lids in the home. Other than her penchant fortrash robberies, she is the perfect pup to bring home for snuggles and will happily sleep in a dog bed in the bedroom or right in bed with her people. Destiny is spayed, up-to-date on all vaccinations, heartworm negative, microchipped and receiving monthly preventatives for fleas, ticks and heartworms. Proof of heartwormprevention for any current or previous pets is required to adopt from our organization. Tito is fostered in Waukesha, WI This gorgeous guy would love to be your one and only! Tito is the absolute sweetest black tri male Australian Shepherd. He was a stray who landed in an IL shelter. Tito is estimated to be about a year old and approximately 50 lbs. His mezmorizing golden eyes just melt the soul! Tito falls hard. He falls for his humans and he loves all his things. Tito is a pleasure to be around with his fondness for people of all shapes and sizes. Given he has had little to no training, we feel it's best that his adopter be someone experienced with herding breeds. He also could use some basic obedience training, which is an excellent way to bond. This guy is TOTALLY food motivated and he does respond nicely to commands. Tito is crate trained and house trained. He totally loves car rides and running errands with you.... anything to be next to his humans. Tito is far too prey driven to be in a home with any feline companions though. He would be AUSSOME as the squirrel patrolman on duty! He enjoys being the BIG lap dog that he is and he is actually QUITE human focused and very food motivated, making him eager to please his hooman. Tito is neutered, up-to-date on all vaccinations, heartworm negative, microchipped and receiving monthly preventatives for fleas, ticks and heartworms.
