Story

This handsome fellow and his siblings came in to rescue last winter after they were dumped on a back country road. Their mother was found deceased, so we took the puppies in to try to save them. They were very sick initially but are very healthy now. Big boy is a gentle boy but does love to run and play with other dogs. Big boy was the largest of the puppies, but his siblings have caught up to him. He has done amazing with his house and crate training. He is so deserving of a wonderful home to call his own. He is fostered in East TN, but transportation is included in the adoption fee and provided by Rescue Riders LLC. Please let me know if you have any questions. There is a beautiful, kind smart athletic mixed breed dog named Karma in need of a new home as her owner has relocated to Georgia and couldn't take her. She is crate trained and will not go in the garbage or chew on shoes/furniture. She is good with other dogs, cats and children. Her bad habits are occasional whining, leash pulling. She’s good off leash, hasn’t bitten anyone or anything. Approximately 50 pounds and 8 years old. She got all her shots as a puppy from Banfield. Has not had any serious medical issues injury or disease.

Bitzie is fostered in Pleasonton, Kansas. This sweet little girl is a breeder release from the Amish. She is 5 years old and currently weighs just under 20 lbs. She is a female black tri mini Australian Shepherd female. Bitzis is ready to find her forever home. Because of her former life, she is a little bit under socialized, but she is SUPER sweet and loves attention. She is potty trained and crate trained. Since coming into her foster home, Bitzie has slowly been exposed to all kinds of new sounds, new smells, new environments, etc. The KEY WORD for this girl is slow. She needs a very patient adopter who will allow her time to decompress and begin to understand a new routine, yet slowly expose her to new situations so she can learn. Bitzie thrives on attention and follows her foster mom all over the house. She does get scared with loud noises and will most definitely require a very secure physical fence. She would also do best with an adopter who has another social dog that she can take some cues from. Bitzie has done well with other dogs of all sizes. She has not been exposed to cats or kids. We recommend a home with children over 12 years of age, as they may scare her. Her ideal home would be one that is less busy and home more often than not. Bitzies must haves are: patient adopter who will continue the socialization of new sounds, new environments, new smells, etc anther outgoing pup in the home to take some cues from secure physically fenced yard Bitzie is spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on all vaccinations and receiving monthly prevention for fleas, ticks and heartworms. She does require a committed adopter who is willing to devote 1 - 2 hours of mental and physical stimulation per day. NOTE: All of our dogs live in foster homes with volunteers so we need an approved application on file to set up a meet with a dog you might have an interest in.
