Peyton is an approx. 5-year-old Retriever/Australian Shepherd mix with a heart as soft as his fur. This sweet boy is incredibly cuddly and absolutely loves any kind of affection — pets, pats, scratches, hugs… if you’re offering, he’s accepting. Peyton is the ultimate sidekick and will happily stick close to you, leaning in to make sure you’re okay while gazing up with his soulful, longing eyes.Peyton already knows several commands, including sit, down/off, outside, and no begging. He’s mostly potty trained and has made huge progress in a short time. Coming from a background where the world was his bathroom, he’s doing GREAT and would be fully house-trained in no time. He currently lets you know he needs to go out by sitting at the door and will give a little scratch if you don’t notice right away.He isn’t a big fan of the crate, but with a little encouragement he’ll go in and settle just fine. Peyton can be a bit vocal, especially as he adjusts to a busy household or new environment, but this should improve as he continues to feel more secure.Peyton does well with children ages 4–10, as well as older kids and teens. He’s gentle, cautious, and watchful. He’s interested in other dogs of all sizes and can be confident and a bit domineering, so slow, proper introductions are important.This boy loves being outside and enjoys soaking up the fresh air. He’s currently learning the ropes of leash walking and making steady progress.If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who wants nothing more than to be by your side, Peyton may be your perfect match.Interested in adopting this dog? Miss Abby is such a gentle, loving soul and is great with her 14 puppy pals and nine foster homies. She doesn't require much - a soft bed and a little bit of attention. She was a stray and was found out in the middle of nowhere without much hope of survival. She is very calm and passive. Abby is housetrained using a doggy door, doesn't chew up household items or anything like that. She loves playing with the tiny puppies she lives with and is learning her sign language commands. Being in a foster home with so many foster siblings, her foster dad tries to teach them non-verbal communication. Abby is a beautiful girl who will make a great addition to any family.FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. Abby's adoption fee is $275. The adoption fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea/Tick/Heartworm Prevention, and Sheltering. Hi, I’m Ramona. A very spunky, feisty and cuddly multicolored pup with gorgeous eyes!! I’m fun pretty much all the way around, I love to play with all kinds of toys, love to play with dogs twice my size, I even try to make friends with cats but they don’t care for me. I’m spunky because I love to talk when I play. I’m feisty because I don’t let big dogs intimidate me, they rough house with me and I do it right back (silly goose’s didn’t expect my little self to be as courages as I am!!) I’m also very cuddly when it comes time to wind down and go to sleep, I will fall asleep by your shoulder or near the bottom of your legs. I love to play, eat and play some more. Each one is adorable, sweet, and smart and they all have amazing temperaments.
