Story
Hi, I'm Trapper Boi! I was brought to PVCHS with a bunch of other dogs due to a hoarding case. I love to play with tennis balls and can almost always be found carrying one (or two) around. I will play fetch all day every day. I prefer to be the only dog in the home. Please consider visiting me at the shelter! Unless otherwise stated, the adoption fees for dogs over 5 months range from $50-$175. Puppies under 5 months are $175.00. Dog adoption fees include a microchip. The adoption fee includes the animal's surgery, vaccinations, flea preventative, deworming medication, sample bag of food/treat samples and a free first exam with participating veterinarians. Shelter policy and 2018 Indiana state law decrees all animals must be spayed or neutered prior to leaving the shelter. Our shelter is open to the public on Monday- Saturday from 8:00 am -5:00 pm EST with the exception of Wednesdays on which we typically open by 1:00 pm. If you would like to make an appointment to meet one of our many adoptable animals, please send an email to us at pvchs@joink.com. Story
Ranger is a Courtesy Listing and is not housed at the Animal Shelter. Please note that the City of Bloomington Animal Care & Control accepts no responsibility for this pet. Potential adopters are responsible for communicating directly with the pet's guardian. It is a one owner dog. He does not like most other people. However, he never bit anyone. Occasionally, he will run up to dogs/people and bark up a storm, however, it does not bite. Just very scared of anything other than his territory or family. It does well with kids as long as they are not within his 'area'. Ranger is a very good dog for someone who is alone. If you are interested in Ranger Please email me at kimejs79@yahoo.com or call me at 317-797-4476. ***Please ignore the Apply to Adopt button for this pet & contact the owner directly***

Story
Roadie is an adorable, slightly scruffy guy that was found as a stray. He very much enjoys snacks and has discovered the joy of bacon flavored goodies and cheese. He seems very interested in meeting dogs and will be introduced to our playgroups soon. While he is very sweet and seems to want to connect with people as well, he is very scared when he sees strangers and tries to escape the yard in his fear. We are still getting to know Roadie and brainstorming new ways to introduce him to adopters that cause him less stress, but he is likely the type of dog that will need some time to truly connect. Based on his gentle nature, we think he is worth taking the chance on!

Story
Jupiter is going to be a gem when you get her home! She's house trained and a really pleasant companion for a walk. She's that perfect adult dog who's ready to settle in to a new home and make your life complete. She's been overwhelmed by all of the dogs and noisy shelter life, and may be selective with which dogs she wants to hang out with, but she's had pup pals in her previous homes.
