Millie is a 2-year-old Retriever mix with brains, beauty, and boundless energy - but what she needs most is someone who sees her potential and is ready to help her shine. This girl is smart, active, and eager to learn, but she needs the right match: an experienced, dog-savvy adopter who can guide her through training, structure, and consistency. Millie is working on her manners and obedience as part of our Pawsitive Pawgress Program, and she’s already made great progress. She’ll come with three free training sessions after adoption to help continue her journey at home. Millie will need to be the only pet in the home and would need an adult-only household. Due to her energy level and learning needs, her adoption may require multiple meet-and-greets to help set everyone up for success. She’s not a beginner dog. She’s a diamond in the rough—full of heart, potential, and drive—just waiting for the right person to believe in her. She has been waiting over a year now, and we would love for her to find her match. If you're up for the challenge and ready for the reward, Millie is more than ready to meet you.

Ollie is looking for a savvy, patient adopter who is willing to invest time in training and confidence building. New situations can be overwhelming for him at first, but once you earn his trust, he becomes your absolute best friend - the kind of dog who sticks close and forms a strong, meaningful bond. He would do best in a home without small children and may prefer to be the only pet, where he can feel secure and focus on his relationship with his person. An active lifestyle is a must for Ollie - think daily exercise, mental stimulation, and continued training to help him shine. As an Australian Shepherd, he’ll also need an adopter who understands and is committed to his grooming needs. Ollie is part of our Paws Forward Program, which means his adopter will receive 3 free training sessions with Janette from Kind K9s to help set him up for long-term success.
