He’s the perfect age for someone wanting a companion who loves activity and appreciates a good nap afterward. Because of his herding-breed background, Shack would really thrive with someone who has some knowledge of Collies, Aussies, or other smart working breeds. He blossoms with structure, routine, and clear expectations — he just loves knowing what his day looks like. -Ideal Home: -A home without young kids (he prefers a calmer environment). -Someone with an active lifestyle — walks, adventures, playtime, or even fun mental games. -An adopter who appreciates a clever dog who’s eager to bond and learn. Shack has so much love to give and is ready to be someone’s loyal, steady, adventure-loving best friend. If you’re looking for a sweet companion who will adore being part of your daily routine, Shack is your guy! If interested, please call the shelter at 231-861-5395 and leave a message to be placed on this dog's adoption list. No obligation, but it reserves your place in line on the list. The shelter will contact individuals as they appear on the list. The adoption fee is $95 and you receive certificates for $50 towards spay/neuter and $10 towards rabies vaccine if not already done. All dogs are heartworm tested, receive a DHLPP, flea and tick treatment, and are dewormed.
