I am a PSW in Canada and deal with a lot of elderly people. One of my clients was being sent to a long-term nursing home and could no longer keep this dog. I wanted to try so I brought him home. Had him fixed. And hope for the best. Unfortunately, Jackson is a very high energy dog and my Saint Bernard has now sustained a couple injuries due to the jumping. My Saint Bernard is 8 years old and I am faced with a very hard decision and would like to spend time with him without the extra stress.

If you let her, she would happily live on your lap full time. Rooby is all about her people, always close, always loving, always seeking connection. A home where someone is around more often than not would be ideal for her. A recently retired person looking for a devoted companion? That would be her perfect cup of tea. She truly loves everyone. Visitors at the door? New friends. Familiar faces? Even better. And of course, she loves mealtime and treats, just like all her puppies do.
