Story
Meet Tuksa, a 3-4 year old, a spirited adventurer hailing from the rugged lands of Nunavut. Her boundless energy makes her the perfect companion for an active lifestyle filled with hikes, runs, and outdoor play. Tuksa's sharp mind and herding instincts make her a fast learner, excelling at puzzles and learning new tricks faster than you can say 'fetch.' Though she has a strong prey drive and may get anxious when left alone, her loyalty and bravery are unmatched. Having spent most of her life in a rescue or foster home, she’s eager to find her forever family. Tuksa’s playful spirit turns every moment into an adventure, and her curiosity ensures that each day brings new exploration. Yet, she’s also independent and content with her own company when needed. Adopting Tuksa means gaining not just a pet, but a loyal friend, a brave protector, and an independent explorer who will enrich your life in countless ways. The adoption fee includes Vaccinations: This includes: Rabies Leptospirosis Distemper Infectious Hepatitis/Adenovirus Parvovirus Parainfluenza Lyme Bloodwork: Testing for heartworm, Lyme, Ehrlichia, and Anaplasma Deworming Spay/Neuter Microchipping If the dog required any other vet treatment or surgery while in our care, this is also included in the adoption fee. All known medical information is explained to adopters prior to adoption. All our dogs come with a leash, collar, toy and a small bag of kibble. We put a lot of work, time, care and love into each one of these dogs. They are treated like one of our own. We are open and transparent about the dogs in our care.

Story
Hello, I'm Greta! I'm a little anxious about my move to PDA. I'm looking for someone to take things slow and be patient while I work through my shyness. I get along well with people and dogs but can be nervous when new people enter my home. In typical Border Collie fashion I can be reactive to loud noises and small animals. I'll need my my new family to keep my mind and body active. This will help keep me satisfied living in a home. FS, Border Collie/ Australian Shepherd mix approx 40lbs DOB: 2024
