Story
Jasper has been with me since he was 6 months old. Unfortunately he does have a bite history. The first was a startle bite when woken up in the night 3 years ago. The second was 6 months ago when my mom was drying off his paws, he bit her hand. The 3rd was 2 weeks ago when my boyfriend reached into the car to pet goodbye. He has had numerous lunges at people, both known and unknown. Although he did not bite his only warning is complete stillness. We worked on reactivity training with a local trainer but I can not provide the time or space for what he needs. I travel for work and though he rides well in his kennel in the car likely this causes increased stress. He is great with me and we mountain bike, hike and paddle board. He is smart and knows many commands and is learning more. He is a snuggler with me when he wants to be or when he is resource guarding me. He needs someone who can make him feel safe all the time. Jasper isn't a bad dog he just needs someone who can work with him.
