Story
Clover is full of life, loves to run around and play with her friend Lemon Drop. Not sure if they are sisters but they look a lot alike and they also came in together. They are separated in the shelter, so it is ok if they go separately. Clover can be vocal when she wants something and you can see the happiness when she gets what she wants. She is pretty independent though, I think she would be ok with or without friends (other dogs) in the home. Clover is up to date on vaccines and in line to be spayed. She is heartworm positive though and will need treatment.

Story
Miss Daisy:She is a 2 year old Assydor. Her previous owner kept her in a cage all the time, barely letting her out to potty and maybe some water and food. She is a very sweet dog. Always comes when her name is called. She just wants to please. She loves kids and play with other pets too. She loves to play ball. Give her a toy with a squicker and it will be destroyed, have to get that squicker. She been learning the Frisbee and loves to help pull weeds. She always wants to be in what ever room you are in. She plays hide and seek and tag around the island. Loves to chase the green light and the squirrels. Car rides she is still getting comforable with. She is use to getting a treat when we go away for hours to let her know we were sorry to leave her alone for so long. My husband is allergic to dogs. We didn't know it at the time.

Story
Horse Creek Wildlife rescued Hastings from the animal shelter on January 8, 2026. Hastings is a strikingly beautiful Aussie mix with a gentle heart and the friendliest spirit. He loves spending time with our volunteers and is always excited to run and play with his dog friends in the play yard. His sweet nature and easygoing personality make him a joy to be around. He was under the weather for a while as he went through heartworm treatment, but those days are behind him now. Hastings has finished his treatment, is feeling great, and is more than ready to find the loving forever home he deserves. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered and current on all vaccinations. They receive monthly heartworm and flea/tick prevention. All of their medical needs are taken care of before they are available for adoption. Our adoption fee is $100.00. Please complete an application, if you have found a dog you are interested in adopting. Kim Austin, our adoption facilitator, will be in contact with you as soon as she has an opportunity to review your application. Understand that she has other duties and she will not ignore any interest shown in adopting one of our dogs. An application will need to be approved before a scheduled time to visit our dogs will be set up. It may take up to 48 hours before she returns your call or responds to your email, due to work schedules, holidays and adoption events. We do the very best we can for the dogs we have rescued and do not take the adoption process lightly. Please be patient and understand that we will place our rescued dogs in the very best homes possible and reserve the right to refuse applications.

Story
Thanksgiving Day 2025. While most families were sitting down to dinner, a 4-pound baby was sitting abandoned. Molly was left behind with her mama — no food, no security, no plan. Just a tiny little puppy trying to survive the world on her own. Somebody To The Rescue stepped in that day, brought Molly home, and went back two days later to make sure her mama wasn’t left behind either. Fast forward to now. Molly is five months old. She’s had all four of her puppy shots. She’s going to be spayed and microchipped. She is healthy, safe, and blooming into the sweetest little soul you could ever meet. She is gentle. She is loving. She looks at you like you are her whole world. She can be adopted on her own, or she can go home with her mama. They are not bonded, but they are beautiful together. Two girls who survived being discarded and still chose to trust people again. Molly deserves a home where doors don’t close on her. Where she never wonders if she’ll be left behind again. Where she gets to be someone’s baby for the rest of her life. If you’ve been thinking about adding a little light to your life… this is it. Adopt Molly. Or adopt Molly and Baby Mama. And give them the forever they were almost denied. 📍Corinth, MS 🐾 Somebody to the Rescue 📩 Message us or apply here APPLICATION -> https://forms.gle/TQeBPnXrfB3N8xZDA Because no puppy should spend another holiday unwanted.

Story
Some stories break your heart. Hers proves how strong it can be. 💛🌈 Meet Baby Mama 30 pounds of sweetness, resilience, and quiet courage. She was found abandoned… left behind with just one surviving baby(Molly) by her side. While the world moved on, she stayed. She protected. She endured. She did what good mamas do, she loved the only way she knew how, even when everything around her fell apart. That baby survived because of her. Now it’s her turn. She’s about a year old, playful, gentle, and full of that soft, grateful kind of love you only see in dogs who have been through something, and still choose joy anyway. She doesn’t need sympathy. She needs stability. She doesn’t need another temporary stop. She needs a forever. A couch. A yard. A person who won’t disappear. No more being left behind. No more surviving on her own. No more wondering. If you’ve been thinking about adding a loyal, loving soul to your family, this is your sign. Baby Mama has already proven she’ll stay when things get hard. Now she deserves someone who will do the same. fill out an application today!
