In fact, she has embraced her role as the baby of the family with full confidence. If Maylene had a motto, it would be: “All eyes on me.” This little girl believes she was born to shine. She carries herself with the charming confidence of a pup who knows she is adored and fully expects that adoration to continue. Step aside, world — Maylene is here. She loves her toys, especially when she can turn playtime into a spirited game of “keep away” with her sisters. She’s playful, bright, and full of personality. In her foster home, she gets along wonderfully with the other dogs and would thrive with a playful canine companion. She hasn’t had the chance to meet cats yet, but her adaptable nature suggests she would likely adjust with proper introductions. When fully grown, Maylene will be around 40 pounds — the perfect size for a family looking for a loyal sidekick with just the right amount of sass and sweetness. Mallie is a sweetheart of a dog but VERY protective. I’d put in a situation to protect you she will bite. Otherwise very friendly and knows all commands: sit, stay, shake (both hands) trained to walk on leash. She will stay within where she is allowed to go and not wander. Prefers being outside!
