At just 2.5 years old, this beautiful merle-coated Aussie is still learning that the world can be a safe and loving place. Tiny is extremely shy with new people, but with patience, gentle voices, calm affection, and regular contact, she has made wonderful progress building trust with the people and dogs she sees every day. Once Tiny feels secure, her playful personality begins to shine. She loves going for walks and greeting the day with excitement. In fact, she jumps and runs with joy every morning when she realizes it's time to head outside. She walks well on leash, though she remains aware of her surroundings. Tiny also loves playing and wrestling with other dogs, chewing on bones, enjoying her toys, and socializing with her trusted humans and canine companions. At the end of the day, she's happiest curled up in her den with a soft bed and soothing music. She is also comfortable with her kennel and will happily go inside with a verbal command and a treat. Because Tiny is still building confidence, she does not do well with frequent visitors or unfamiliar people entering the home. During visits, she does best when safely kenneled. Her kennel is her secure space where she settles comfortably and feels safe. Tiny is looking for a patient, understanding home that will allow her to blossom at her own pace. With kindness, consistency, and a calm environment, she has every chance to become a truly special companion. If you have the time and patience to let love grow, Tiny may be the perfect match for you.
