Lily

Australian Shepherd Labrador Retriever

Female, 8 yrs 2 mos
Stephenville, TX
Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Lily was surrendered through no fault of her own and has shown just how resilient she is. After a few days of settling into the busy shelter environment, she has blossomed into a happy girl who eagerly soaks up attention from anyone willing to give it. She is said to do well with other dogs and children, though she has never been around cats. Lily loves toys—especially balls—and enjoys playtime as much as cuddle time. She is housebroken, crate trained, and rides calmly in the car. She also does well on leash, making her a great companion for walks. Lily does get a little lonely when left by herself and may howl, so she would do best in a home where she isn’t left alone for long periods. She is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated for DHPP and Bordetella, and heartworm negative. She is pending dewormer and preventatives, and her adopter will just need to update her rabies vaccination. Lily is ready to bring love, fun, and loyalty into her forever home—could it be with you?

Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Tully is sweet, lovable, devoted, and very protective of those she loves. She is great with children. She is aggressive towards other animals until she gets to know them. She warms up to them very quickly, as in less than 30 minutes, and then they are friends forever. She is very shy if she does not know you. Her only problem is that she does not like men. She is low maintenance (except for some shedding). She would be absolutely perfect for a single woman who just wants a pet for company. I do not want to rehome her but must due to the fact that I have teenagers and boys come over and she does not like men! She is very protective of children. No one can mess with my three year old! Most aussies need room to run and play and exercise but Tully is content to lie around the house all day. If you have children around she loves to play with them, but due to her breeding she will try to herd them. But she will not hurt them.

Good with kids, Good with dogs, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Trixie is a sweet timid girl. She is fixed and in need of some grooming. She seems a little scared of people, but we have been able to get her to walk on a leash and if I have a treat I can sometime pet her. She loves other dogs, very athletic. We can’t keep her because she eats chickens. I don’t believe it’s out of malice she really is a gentle soul she just wants to play and she plays rough. She needs a home that someone can take the time to be with her most of the day. She is kennel trained and mostly house trained. What little she decides she wants to be in the house.
