Story
Carrie Underwoof was brought in as a stray and, sadly, was never reclaimed. She is a very sweet girl who can be quite timid, especially around new people, and will need a patient, understanding home to help her build confidence. Due to her nervous nature, a home without young children is recommended. Carrie walks fairly well on a leash, though doorways can still be a bit scary for her. She has not been formally dog-tested yet, but she hasn’t seemed to mind her nearby dog neighbors so far. Carrie Underwoof is heartworm negative and currently on prevention. She has received her DHPP and Bordetella vaccinations, and has started dewormer. She is scheduled to be spayed in mid-January. With time, consistency, and gentle encouragement, Carrie has the potential to truly blossom in a loving home.

Story
Lily was surrendered through no fault of her own and has shown just how resilient she is. After a few days of settling into the busy shelter environment, she has blossomed into a happy girl who eagerly soaks up attention from anyone willing to give it. She is said to do well with other dogs and children, though she has never been around cats. Lily loves toys—especially balls—and enjoys playtime as much as cuddle time. She is housebroken, crate trained, and rides calmly in the car. She also does well on leash, making her a great companion for walks. Lily does get a little lonely when left by herself and may howl, so she would do best in a home where she isn’t left alone for long periods. She is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated for DHPP and Bordetella, and heartworm negative. She is pending dewormer and preventatives, and her adopter will just need to update her rabies vaccination. Lily is ready to bring love, fun, and loyalty into her forever home—could it be with you?

Story
Trixie is a sweet timid girl. She is fixed and in need of some grooming. She seems a little scared of people, but we have been able to get her to walk on a leash and if I have a treat I can sometime pet her. She loves other dogs, very athletic. We can’t keep her because she eats chickens. I don’t believe it’s out of malice she really is a gentle soul she just wants to play and she plays rough. She needs a home that someone can take the time to be with her most of the day. She is kennel trained and mostly house trained. What little she decides she wants to be in the house.
