He absolutely loves toys, especially a good game of tug-of-war, and is always ready for fun! He enjoys meeting new people and does well riding in the car, making him a great companion for outings and adventures. Dude is not good with other dogs or children, so he will need to be the only pet in a home without kids. He has not been around livestock, so his behavior with livestock is unknown. Dude is also still learning his manners and will need obedience training, structure, and consistent guidance to help him become the best companion he can be. Dude is not potty trained and will need consistent house training and supervision. He also has a chewing habit and will need appropriate toys and plenty of positive outlets for his energy. He tends to get into things when left unattended, so a home that can provide supervision, exercise, and enrichment will be important. He does not do well when left alone, can be quite vocal at times, and isn't a fan of bath time. Patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement will go a long way as he adjusts to his new home. Dude is looking for an experienced adopter who is willing to put in the time and training he needs. In return, you'll have an energetic, playful companion who is always up for an adventure! Dude is neutered, fully vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped.

Meet 🌟SPAZ🌟 He's such a happy, well-rounded and mannered guy. He can shift from couch potato to adventure buddy as needed. He really just wants to be around his people as much as possible. He does live up to his name when he's having fun; trips over his own feet and bonks his head on tables and walls. He loves to throw toys for himself and flops around. He's a character! Spaz: 🔸️Listed as a ~4 year old, 44lb border collie mix from his shelter stats 🔸️Loves people, but can be a little intimidated by loud voices and environments 🔸️Great with dogs 🔸️Absolute rockstar with cats (even those that don't like him! He does not react) 🔸️Stellar with children of any age. He doesn't have a reactive or aggressive bone in his body. If he's uncomfortable he will simply tuck into himself or walk away. 🔸️perfectly house trained 🔸️walks well on a leash and loves going on walks 🔸️he does cry when he's in a kennel, but otherwise generally silent when out-and-about. He does bark to notify us of visitors but stops upon request. 🔸️LOVES toys and to play fetch 🔸️travels perfectly in cars 🔸️tolerates being brushed and washed 🔸️wants to be your shadow Spaz is an all-around rockstar of a dog and would thrive in nearly any environment once he's given the time to acclimate and feel confident.

Unfortunately, due to changing circumstances, they're now looking for loving forever homes. Sam is a friendly, active boy who gets along great with other dogs. He does not do well with cats or livestock, so he'll need a home without them. He is comfortable in a crate, walks nicely on a leash, and enjoys car rides, making him an excellent companion for adventures. Because Sam hasn't spent much time living loose inside a home, he may need some help with potty training and adjusting to indoor life. With consistency and patience, he should settle into a routine. He also needs a secure yard and supervision when outside, as he's been known to jump fences if given the opportunity. Sam is neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. He is heartworm positive and has started the slow-kill method of treatment.
