Bigs has quite the story! Born to a feral mom out in the county, he was abandoned at just 2½ weeks old and was hand-raised and bottle-fed. Because of his early start with people, Bigs is a friendly, well-socialized pup who enjoys being part of the action. He has been exposed to horses, cats, dogs, and children and has done well with all of them. Bigs also rides nicely on a side-by-side and enjoys tagging along for adventures. He's a smart boy who already knows several commands, including "sit," "stay," "no," and "get out" when he's investigating something he shouldn't be. Like any young dog, Bigs still has a few things to learn. His new family will need to continue working with him on leash training and getting comfortable with car rides. With patience and consistency, he should continue to grow into a wonderful companion. Bigs is looking for a family that will give him plenty of love, continue his training, and include him in their daily activities. With his friendly personality and eagerness to learn, he's ready to become someone's loyal companion and best friend. Bigs has received 2 of his 3 DHPP vaccinations, a rabies vaccination, and a Bordetella vaccination. He has received dewormer and a microchip. He is neutered. He did have his rear dewclaws removed and has stiches that will need to be removed on 7/10.

Dude is an energetic pup who stays true to his breed mix and will thrive in an active home that can help him burn off his energy through play, exercise, and adventure. He absolutely loves toys, especially a good game of tug-of-war, and is always ready for fun! He enjoys meeting new people and does well riding in the car, making him a great companion for outings and adventures. Dude has not been around livestock. While he is reported to be dog-friendly, he has not been formally dog tested at the shelter since he has not yet completed his puppy vaccinations. He is not housebroken and will need consistent potty training and supervision, as he has a tendency to jump on counters when left unattended. He also does not do well when left alone, can be quite vocal at times, and isn't a fan of bath time, so patience and positive reinforcement will go a long way as he adjusts to his new home. If you're looking for an active, playful companion who's always up for an adventure, Dude may be the perfect match! Dude is neutered, fully vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped.

Meet 🌟SPAZ🌟 He's such a happy, well-rounded and mannered guy. He can shift from couch potato to adventure buddy as needed. He really just wants to be around his people as much as possible. He does live up to his name when he's having fun; trips over his own feet and bonks his head on tables and walls. He loves to throw toys for himself and flops around. He's a character! Spaz: 🔸️Listed as a ~4 year old, 44lb border collie mix from his shelter stats 🔸️Loves people, but can be a little intimidated by loud voices and environments 🔸️Great with dogs 🔸️Absolute rockstar with cats (even those that don't like him! He does not react) 🔸️Stellar with children of any age. He doesn't have a reactive or aggressive bone in his body. If he's uncomfortable he will simply tuck into himself or walk away. 🔸️perfectly house trained 🔸️walks well on a leash and loves going on walks 🔸️he does cry when he's in a kennel, but otherwise generally silent when out-and-about. He does bark to notify us of visitors but stops upon request. 🔸️LOVES toys and to play fetch 🔸️travels perfectly in cars 🔸️tolerates being brushed and washed 🔸️wants to be your shadow Spaz is an all-around rockstar of a dog and would thrive in nearly any environment once he's given the time to acclimate and feel confident.

Howlywood Undead was brought in as a stray and was never reclaimed. He is a friendly, rambunctious boy who absolutely loves people and thrives on attention. He has a big personality and isn’t shy about using his voice—especially when left alone—so apartment living would likely not be the best fit for him. Howlywood is great with kids, strangers, and cats, but he is not good with other dogs or livestock, so a home where he can be the only dog is recommended. He is potty trained when taken out frequently and does best with a consistent routine. He did well being left alone and will continue to thrive with structure and regular outings. True to his heeler breed, Howlywood can be mouthy and does like to nip, and he can jump up which may result in scratches. This behavior is not aggressive, but adopters should be prepared to work on manners and provide appropriate outlets for his energy. He loves going on walks and enjoys getting out and about. Howlywood walks fairly well on a leash but can be very excitable and is still learning to walk calmly at your side. He rides great in the car and loves attention, being pet, cuddling up, and cozy warm blankets. His foster describes him as a great dog who just wants to be loved. While the others found homes, Noodle and her sister, Egg, were the last two and eventually made their way to our shelter. Now she's ready to find the forever family she deserves! Noodle is a happy-go-lucky puppy with a playful spirit and a zest for life. She loves to run, wrestle, and play, especially if toys are involved! In fact, she loves her toys so much that they rarely stay in one piece for long. If you're looking for a fun-loving companion who will keep you smiling, Noodle is your girl. She has also seen horses from a distance, though she hasn't had close interactions with them, so we can't say how she would do.
