Noah is a smart, high-energy puppy who thrives on activity, structure, and plenty of fun. He loves playing with other dogs, doing zoomies around the yard, and chasing leaves as they blow by. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would do best with older kids since he still occasionally jumps when he gets excited—but he’s learning! Noah is crate trained and housebroken once he learns the routine of his home. He walks well on a leash and already knows sit and down. His foster family is currently working on stay, and he’s proving to be a quick learner. Because of his energy level, Noah needs an active family that willing to continue teaching him manners and training. His mama was an Australian Shepherd, and based on how the whole litter looks, his foster believes dad was a Boxer—giving him the perfect mix of smarts, athleticism, and playfulness. Noah is ready to find a family who can keep up with his zest for life and help him grow into the amazing dog he’s meant to be! Monty is a great name for a great dog like me ;) I have the Monty Python kind of humor... goofy and sweet! But, don't mess with my crate! That really is my only "pet: peeve!! I was found on the streets 2 years ago and was adopted as a pup... however, I became the boss in the house and didn't like anyone entering the house that I didn't know :( SO..... Back to the rescue, because they won't give up on me!! So here I am and I have really adjusted to the environment and new people meeting me and treats and lots of love. AND the crew here basically has determined that I need a family/adopters that will be in charge of the house. Someone I can trust to protect me so I don't have to!! I am vocal in my crate, so my crate needs to be away from the common areas so I can relax and not meet everyone that stops by. Once I settle into my new home I will follow your lead! I am a gorgeous boy, with caramel and milk chocolate highlights in my soft fur. I want to please my family and go on all kinds of adventures! I am awesome out and about, meeting new people and new friends :D I hope you will look into my eyes, the windows to my soul, and see the HOPE I have to find my own home again! The rescue is great because I got a second chance, but I REALLY want a home!! Local adoption only $200 (in TX)
