Hans came into rescue as a puppy with his siblings. He will be 1 in Nov. His sibling had a DNA test done showing predominately Australian Shepherd/mini-AS with chihuahua and jack russell. He is a sweet athletic boy that craves affection. House, crate and leash trained. Completely vetted and ready for his forever home. He is fostered near Knoxville, TN but transportation to a location near you is included in the adoption fee and provided by Rescue Riders LLC. Hi I’m the boom man Boomer! I have two different colored eyes and the cutest nub for a tail! - I am such a happy guy and always have a smile on my face! - I always want to be where you are, whether you are doing chores, watching tv or cooking in the kitchen. I will always be right at your side. - I walk great on a leash. If I get nervous, I will lay down or walk in a circle. On my first night in foster, I came home and walked a mile like a pro. - I get along great with other dogs! I haven’t shown any signs of play yet though. - I have not been tested with cats or kids. My foster does not have any at her home. - I am very food motivated. I already know sit and I think lay down is in there somewhere. I’m so smart. - I am working on my potty manners. I like to mark, which reduced significantly after my first night in foster and will continue to improve once I’m neutered. For now, I rock a belly band inside. - I will settle in my crate after 20 minutes or so. It is admittedly not my favorite place. I don’t do anything destructive, but I will bark until I relax. I keep it nice and tidy and clean. My skills are getting better as I learn you will not leave me forever. Lyme + (not contagious) *I am Lyme positive. Treatment is typically 28 days of doxycycline (an inexpensive antibiotic). With this disease, a dog may always test positive even if treated. The adopter is responsible for treatment, including cost. Its always a good idea to plan to keep your dog on a joint supplement for life.
