Story
This handsome fellow and his siblings came in to rescue last winter after they were dumped on a back country road. Their mother was found deceased, so we took the puppies in to try to save them. They were very sick initially but are very healthy now. Big boy is a gentle boy but does love to run and play with other dogs. Big boy was the largest of the puppies, but his siblings have caught up to him. He has done amazing with his house and crate training. He is so deserving of a wonderful home to call his own. He is fostered in East TN, but transportation is included in the adoption fee and provided by Rescue Riders LLC. Please let me know if you have any questions. Please email us for the link to the adoption application (His adoption fee is only to cover transport and health certificate to travel to another state.)

Story
Marley Girl is a happy, outgoing  8 year old Aussie Doodle with a heart full of love and lots of years and life left to share. This young senior girl is looking for a new home through no fault of her own because her natural herding instincts have taken over and she is chasing the chickens at her former home.  Apparently eggs are more important than sweet Marley.   This girl at 8 years is not too big and just 45 pounds and has lived with another dog during her life and also cats.  Chickens are different for dogs and so she is looking for a new place to live.  Marley is is fully house trained and potty trained, She loves riding in a car and enjoys watching the scenery go by as she rides shotgun. While Marley has a few years behind her she has so many more ahead of her. Her infectious smile only guarantees that you will be her beloved family that she will adore as an easy companion dog.  This girl is all about being a loyal, family-friendly companion who is past the puppy stage but still ready for more years of adventures, cuddles and making memories, Marley may be the perfect match for you. if you are a senior or a younger person that just wants a mellow dog to love.  Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com if you are interested.     PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJuly 10, 2026, 9:52 pm

Story
Charm's Story Charm is a beautiful 4-year-old black Tri Australian Shepherd with a nub tail, a super sweet personality, and a very fitting name. She is currently in Chesapeake, VA, and is looking for a new home through no fault of her own. Charm is deeply loved by her owner, who has made the difficult decision to ask ARMA for help because his work schedule has him away from home for long days. He wants Charm to have the time, attention, exercise, and love she deserves. Charm is friendly, affectionate, and social. She may bark a bit when greeting someone new, but she settles and warms up quickly. During her ARMA evaluation, she accepted treats and pets, allowed gentle handling, and was comfortable being brushed and touched on her ears, head, back, and legs. This pretty girl LOVES a tennis ball! Once the ball came out during her evaluation, Charm happily chased, returned, dropped the ball on command, sat, and waited for the next throw. She is active, playful, and would love a home where she can get regular walks, yard time, playtime, and enrichment. Charm has done well meeting other dogs and showed no signs of aggression during her evaluation. She was happy to interact with dogs. She can get excited when she sees other dogs, so continued leash manners and structure will help her be her best self. Charm is housebroken, crate trained, rides well in the car, and knows several commands, including sit, lay down, drop it, leave it, and down. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. Charm is NOT cat-tolerant -- no kitty cats or other small animals. She has not been around children, so ARMA is looking for an adult home for Charm. Charm would do best with someone who enjoys time outside, can provide regular exercise, has a fenced yard, and is willing to help her continue working on leash manners and a healthy weight. She has so much love to give and just needs the right person or family to give her the attention she has been missing. If you are an approved ARMA adopter, please reach out to the volunteer with whom you've been working. If you would like to be approved to adopt Charm, please fill out the application on our website: [www.aussierescueofthemidatlantic.org] (http://www.aussierescueofthemidatlantic.org/
