Story
Beckett is a very handsome mini Australian Shepherd mix. He weighs about 35 lbs. This distinguished boy is a young 10-year-old. Beckett was saved from the streets of Nashville. He was abandoned and alone. Thanks to a caring lady who could not bear the thought of him spending any more time outside, Beckett is now in a loving foster home. He is under the care of Critter Cavalry.   It did not take long for this awesome gentleman to make himself at home. After meeting the resident dogs, he explored outside. He came in and found a spot to relax. He is getting along great with his new foster brothers and sisters. He is also good with cats. This super smart boy quickly learned to use the doggie door. He can now come and go as he pleases. He does prefer to be inside and likes to know where his foster mom is. Beckett is enjoying all the love and attention he is getting.   It takes him a few minutes, but he quickly warms up to new people. He just has to make sure that you are nice. Beckett is housebroken. He walks well on a leash. He also does not mind the crate and will go right in for a treat. He currently sleeps in his crate, but we think he would love to cuddle up right next to you.   If you are interested in adopting Beckett, please email Vivienne at vivienneajames@gmail.com or text 615-943-7311 to request an application. The adoption process requires submitting an application, having it approved, and paying an adoption fee. Beckett is neutered, up to date on all shots, microchipped, and currently in Tennessee. He can be transported north upon adoption.June 13, 2026, 1:17 pm

Story
Meet Funny Phil!If you are looking for a puppy with charm, good looks, a sense of humor, and a heart full of love, then allow us to introduce you to Funny Phil. This happy-go-lucky Mini Aussiedoodle is 12 weeks old, weighs about 12 pounds, and is expected to grow into a wonderful 30–40 pound companion. Wherever he goes, Phil seems to attract attention. Maybe it's his adorable face, his expressive eyes, or the way he always seems to have a funny look ready to make people smile. Whatever it is, this little guy has 'star quality' written all over him.Phil is the kind of puppy who wakes up every day ready to enjoy life. He loves people and believes everyone he meets is a potential best friend. He happily soaks up attention, gives out affection freely, and is always ready to be part of whatever is happening around him. Whether you're taking a walk, riding in the car, hanging out in the yard, or relaxing on the couch, Phil is delighted just to be included. This sweet boy also has wonderful manners for such a young pup. He is crate trained and making excellent progress with housebreaking. He's smart, eager to learn, and has just the right amount of energy—playful and fun without being overwhelming. He gets along beautifully with other dogs, is comfortable around cats, and is gentle and loving with children.Phil's story started a little differently than most puppies. He was born in a litter of six and spent the first eight weeks of his life living outdoors. When Critter Cavalry Rescue learned about the puppies' situation, they stepped in to give them the clean, safe, and loving start they deserved. Phil has embraced his second chance with enthusiasm and gratitude, and now he's ready to find the forever family he was always meant to have.We can easily picture Phil growing up to be that once-in-a-lifetime dog—the one who goes everywhere with his family, greets every day with a wagging tail, and keeps everyone laughing with his silly expressions and joyful personality. He has a way of making ordinary moments feel special.Funny Phil will be ready on June 19 to hop aboard the transport van from Nashville and head toward the family of his dreams. The only question is whether that family might be yours. For more information about adopting Phil, please contact ccrnewengland@gmail.com.Warning: prolonged exposure to Funny Phil may result in excessive smiling, frequent puppy kisses, and a sudden inability to imagine life without him. ❤️ PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJune 13, 2026, 1:17 pm
