Marmaduke is a big goofy lovebug! He adores children and other dogs. He is very curious about cats and chickens and is probably best in a home without those (or where he can be separated from them). He is only about 1 year old and has been in rescue all his life. He had a medical issue as a puppy that required surgery and he is completely healed from that. He will do best in a home with a secure fenced yard, another dog or dogs to play with that are not tiny since he's so big, and respectful animal-loving children that will love him as much as he loves them. Winston is a sweet & friendly Australian Shepherd. He's a house pet & well behaved. But he's looking for a special home with no small children. This is b/c Winston needs to herd something...it's in his blood...and the kids don't particularly appreciate being herded. Winston loves car rides, to play fetch and to run around and check things out. Pls know that all herding breeds like him have similar needs to work and if they lack a job, they'll make up their own work, which might not be what his family expects him to do.
