Story
Winston is a sweet & friendly Australian Shepherd. He's a house pet & well behaved. But he's looking for a special home with no small children. This is b/c Winston needs to herd something...it's in his blood...and the kids  don't particularly appreciate being herded. Winston loves car rides, to play fetch and to run around and check things out. Pls know that all herding breeds like him have similar needs to work and if they lack a job, they'll make up their own work, which might not be what his family expects him to do. But this breed is highly intelligent and Winston loves to learn new things and is eager to please his people. He gets along with other dogs with proper introductions done.  ##2633591##

Story
Lily is a wonderful dog who would be good for a suitable single home or a couple! No children as she’s not kid friendly, no other animals not animal friendly, she’s house trained, she is crate trained but hates it she will bark the whole time. She likes being outdoors, cuddling in bed, getting attention, going on walks. We are having to rehome her due to her going after our other dogs all of a sudden and we now have a baby in the home so it’s just not suitable! We would love to do a meet and greet and are hoping to find her a home as soon as possible. She is spayed, she has also had one of her toes amputated due to her trying to bust out of her crate and shattering it to the point they couldn’t repair so they amputated. She is utd on everything except her rabies she will need that done!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Wrangler If you're looking for a dog who's got both a brain and a sense of humor, let us introduce you to Wrangler! This 4.5-year-old goofball is a mystery mix - we're guessing part heeler, but we do know he’s full of charm.  Wrangler is a pro at playing with toys and loves a good walk, but his true talent lies in his ability to train humans. He's very particular when it comes to taking treats - don't even think about handing him one. The proper way is to toss it in the air and watch him catch it. It makes the treats more delicious Wrangler is so smart! On our organized volunteer walks, he’s got it all figured out. He'll stop dead in his tracks, make direct eye contact with the person who he knows is a good thrower, and just stare until they give in. (it doesn’t usually take long - he has our volunteers trained well) He also prefers to rock a harness for his walks, instead of a regular leash. If you’re ready to meet your match in wits and fun, Wrangler is the guy for you! He’s smart, picky, and full of love. Come meet this hilarious boy and see if you can pass his treat-tossing test! Story
Oreo was adopted from us a few years ago but was sadly returned today 3/16/2024. She is a beautiful Pit/ Aussie mix that is now 3 years old. She is spayed, up to date and house trained. Oreo was returned because she started showing too much interest in the house cat and tried attacking it. She is also not good around small dogs. She lived with another bigger dog and did great. She is very sad and nervous being back in the shelter. We would love to find her a home with no little animals and possibly one other large doggy friend (meet and greet would be required). She absolutely adores her humans and younger children. She would follow them anywhere and listens very well. She loves to go play outdoors and go for walks. Would do best in an active home. Adoption fee is $100.00
