You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Wrangler If you're looking for a dog who's got both a brain and a sense of humor, let us introduce you to Wrangler! This goofball is a mystery mix - we're guessing part heeler, but we do know he’s full of charm.  Wrangler is a pro at playing with toys and loves a good walk, but his true talent lies in his ability to train humans. He's very particular when it comes to taking treats - don't even think about handing him one. The proper way is to toss it in the air and watch him catch it. It makes the treats more delicious Wrangler is so smart! On our organized volunteer walks, he’s got it all figured out. He'll stop dead in his tracks, make direct eye contact with the person who he knows is a good thrower, and just stare until they give in. (it doesn’t usually take long - he has our volunteers trained well) He also prefers to rock a harness for his walks, instead of a regular leash. If you’re ready to meet your match in wits and fun, Wrangler is the guy for you! He’s smart, picky, and full of love. Come meet this hilarious boy and see if you can pass his treat-tossing test! Story
Oreo was adopted from us a few years ago but was sadly returned today 3/16/2024. She is a beautiful Pit/ Aussie mix that is now 3 years old. She is spayed, up to date and house trained. Oreo was returned because she started showing too much interest in the house cat and tried attacking it. She is also not good around small dogs. She lived with another bigger dog and did great. She is very sad and nervous being back in the shelter. We would love to find her a home with no little animals and possibly one other large doggy friend (meet and greet would be required). She absolutely adores her humans and younger children. She would follow them anywhere and listens very well. She loves to go play outdoors and go for walks. Would do best in an active home. Adoption fee is $100.00
