Story
Meet Perry! Perry is a beautiful 3½-year-old dilute calico with a unique mix of Persian and Egyptian Mau heritage — and she’s just as special as she sounds! Her soft pastel coat and expressive eyes make her truly stunning, but it’s her sweet personality that will win your heart. Perry is gentle, affectionate, and enjoys spending quiet time with her people. She loves cozy naps, gentle pets, and lounging in sunny spots where she can watch the world go by. With her Persian side, she enjoys a calm environment and a bit of pampering, while her Egyptian Mau spirit brings a playful, curious spark. She would thrive in a loving, peaceful home where she can feel safe and cherished. Perry may do well with another calm cat but would also be perfectly happy as your one-and-only companion. Age: 3½ years Breed: Persian / Egyptian Mau mix Color: Dilute Calico Personality: Sweet, calm, affectionate, a little playful If you’re looking for a graceful, loving cat with a gentle heart and a touch of mystery, Perry is the one for you! Apply today to welcome Perry into your home and heart! All of our cats for adoption are sterilized, fully vaccinated, treated for fleas/worms, are negative for FIV/FELV, have a registered microchip, and come with their travel crate.  Adoptions are on a cost-recovery basis and are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law. Potential adopters for our Persian cats need to have prior Persian cat experience as they need to be well cared for.  Grooming, dental, and veterinarian exams are done once a year, and a good quality brand of cat food such as Royal Canin, Hills Science Diet, or Purina Pro plan is the upper tier level with a black label. We are a rescue and get what we get in terms of cats in need of a home. In no way do we work with breeders or buy the cats from the Friday markets so we can put them up for adoption as a rescue. https://www.petstablished.com/adoption_form/11596/generic Native Mau Cats of Egypt are the oldest known descendants of Egyptian domesticated cats (which have provided a partial foundation for the recent Egyptian Mau cat breed), and they are one of only a few naturally occurring, small, spotted cats in the world. Adoptions are on a cost-recovery basis and by an approved application.   NVEcats aims to increase education in Egypt and around the world about these magnificent and intelligent cats. Cats and kittens are not adopted out on a “first-come, first-serve” basis. We choose to match our applicants and cats based on what we deem as best suited for that particular cat or kitten. ##2553642##

Meet Nosa – The Graceful Egyptian Mau Princess, Sister to Simba! Nosa is a gorgeous 9-month-old Egyptian Mau, sister to Simba — both born from a proud lineage that traces all the way back to the cats of the Pharaohs. Egyptian Maus are one of the world’s oldest natural breeds, revered in ancient Egypt and celebrated for their beauty, intelligence, and loyalty. She loves to explore her surroundings, chase toys, and show off her graceful agility. Nosa also has a sweet, gentle side. Once she feels safe and loved, she enjoys affection and companionship. She would thrive in a home where she has space to play, time to bond, and people who will adore her for the special cat she is. Nosa is healthy, vaccinated, and spayed — ready to start her new life! If you’re looking for a cat with beauty, intelligence, and royal Egyptian roots, Nosa could be your perfect companion. Story
Meet Mickey and Mika – Bonded Siblings Looking for a Forever Home Mickey and Mika’s story began in heartbreak, but we’re determined to give it a happy ending. These beautiful siblings were found as helpless kittens on the streets after their mother tragically died in an accident. Alone, frightened, and far too young to survive on their own, they were rescued just in time and brought to safety. With round-the-clock care, warm beds, and lots of love, Mickey and Mika blossomed into the sweet, affectionate cats they are today. Now eleven months old, this bonded pair is ready for their forever home — together. Mickey is the more adventurous of the two, always curious and eager to explore. Mika is gentle and loving, often following Mickey’s lead and cuddling up beside him for naps. They’re inseparable, playful, and full of purrs. Fully vetted Litter trained Loving, social, and great with other cats These two have already lost a mother — they shouldn’t have to lose each other. If you’re looking to open your heart and home to a truly special pair, Mickey and Mika will fill your life with double the love. Contact us to adopt Mickey & Mika! Let’s give these siblings the safe, loving life they deserve. Story
Name: Stella Breed: Egyptian Mau baladi Sex: F Age: approx 6 months Good with dogs? Not sure because she was bitten by a dog on the street. Good with cats? She was good with her litter mates, but they’re the only cats I’ve seen her interact with. Good with kids? I would expect so, but it is untested. Good with people? Excellent Energy level? Typical playful kitten, Litter trained? Yes, Health concerns? No Behavioural concerns? No Spayed/Neutered?  Yes Microchipped? Yes, PERSONALITY Very, very clever. Very affectionate. Has bonded very quickly to me after 1 week in the home + feeding on the streets for 2 weeks. Very affectionate with other people (men and women) if I’m there. Also very vocal, especially when something is new or she wants something, or she is greeting you. When I took her in, she had a swollen leg and couldn’t walk on it. The vet said it was most probably caused by a dog bite. Thankfully, after a course of antibiotics, she is now healed All of our cats for adoption are sterilized, fully vaccinated, treated for fleas/worms, are negative for FIV/FELV, have a registered microchip, and come with their travel crate.  Adoptions are on a cost-recovery basis and are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
