Story
Yoohoo! Hey! Yes you, over here. I can tell that you are missing something in your life. Something like a new forever friend? Something just like me! My name is Layla but you can refer to me as the new Queen of the Castle…I mean, Queen of OUR home, of course. You are sure to find that I am quite the catch. I`m drop dead gorgeous and will certainly tell everyone who wants to listen about it. I`m not what you call a sit-in-the-lap cat, but I have been known to snuggle beside you on the bed. If you work from home, maybe set up a cat tower right beside the desk and a window, so I can assist you throughout the day. I still love to play, especially with feather wands, laser pointers and jingly balls - hopefully you have a stash of those for me at home! I bet you LOVE my loud voice telling you how much I adore you already. Let`s go! ~My adoption fee is $45.00.~Cats? Probably not. Dogs? I have done well with them in a previous home. Children? Tolerant. How did I get here? Adopted and returned twice through no fault of my own.

We got Storm Nov 20th from a friend that was giving him away. He is 3 months old, and very friendly and energetic. He likes to play and he loves eating! Storm would love to have a scratching post because he loves to mess with his paws. He's house trained and you would love to keep him as a pet.

Story
Ed is a 7-month-old VERY friendly boy who loves to be pet! Ed is litterbox trained, does well on car-rides, and he gets along with other cats. He is also very food-motivated (not food aggressive though)! Ed would benefit from being in a home in which people are around more often than not to make sure he doesn't get into anything he shouldn't. We are not able to keep such a sweet boy due to a lack of resources and space for two cats. No special needs. Not declawed. Not microchipped. Not neutered (have not had any spraying issues either). He is fully vaccinated for Rabies, FVRCP, and tested negative for FIV. He has been indoors since we took him in about a month ago.

Story
I got Fig last year from APS Durham. She's been great with our dog and one of our cats who is her age, but she doesn't get along with our other cat (who is around 9 years old). Fig likes roughhousing and our dog and the cat who is her age play with her just fine, but she bullies the older cat. Fig will pounce on her even though she hisses at her and acts very anxious around her. We've tried everything we can think of, including recommendations from our vet, but I think Fig just needs to live in a home where she can either be the only cat or be with cats her age who will chase her back and want to play with her. Given my wife's health issues, losing her job, and a lot of other stressors, Fig isn't getting the love she needs. She's very playful and sweet (to humans), I think she just needs a good environment without an older cat to terrorize. Fig's birthday is Sunday, March 9th 2024 so she is 1y9mo old. She is up to date on all vaccines and is healthy. She's microchipped and spayed.
