Story
About Me: I was rescued from a cat colony in Wilson, NC. I am an absolute cuddle bug, incredibly playful, and a huge food lover! To be honest, I’m not the smartest cat, but I make up for it with pure affection. I can be a bit shy at first and will likely hide until I feel 100% comfortable, but once I know I'm safe, I'm all about scratches and love. I was previously adopted and used the litter box perfectly there. Right now, I'm fostering and bonded instantly with a cat named Vinny, but I do not do well with dominant cats. I have had some litter box accidents here, but we are confident it’s just territorial stress from the dominant cat in the house. My Ideal Home: Lots of Attention: A patient family who loves to play and give treats! Gentle Companions: An only-cat home or a home with a very laid-back kitty friend. A Safe Space: A calm environment where I can hide and acclimate at my own pace so I can get back to my perfect litter box habits.

Story
Hi! I'm trying to re-home my wonderful cat Pepper. She is a 3 year old female tabby cat who we have had since she was a kitten. We got her from a shelter in Burlington NC, which I believe is the last time she got any shots. Since then she has lived at my parents house full time while I went off to college. Pepper is a sweet kitty who loves feathers, sleeping, and being brushed. She can be a little shy at first but she is a cuddly cat when she gets to know you. She has lived inside her entire life and has about 0 interest in going outside. She also loves a good window, the more sun the better, her favorite spot in the house is a window cat rest. In a new home I would love someone who is willing to spend more time with her then my parents do. She's a girl with a lot of personality and I would love to see an environment where she is able to show off her personality. She also will come with her toys, food, and litter box.

Story
Scabbers is an ultra friendly cat who loves his treats! Once he’s comfortable with you, he will snuggle next to you and ask for pets. He’s great at killing bugs and gets along with dogs (as you can see!), kids and other cats. We adopted him from a neighbor as a kitten, but recently one of our family members has developed some severe cat allergies so we need to find him a new loving home.

These cats are in Durham, North Carolina too!

Story
Turbo is named for his energetic and playful energy. He’s extremely independent and adventurous (just in the backyard, he’s never run away from home). He is gorgeous and fun. He is a terrific climber. His favorite toy is a balled up piece of paper (which he can catch with his paws). His favorite snack is a cardboard box (and bacon, he LOVES bacon!) He does like being in the car. This boy will keep you entertained for hours. We rescued him from a local shelter as a kitten four years ago and he has been with us ever since. It is important for any potential adopters to note that Turbo does have some medical needs. In the past he suffered from Feline lower urinary tract disease (FLUTD) and he now has prescription food (Urinary SO).He also had a partial tail amputation and is currently on a strong prescription: Phenobarbital. He really deserves a home where he’ll have lots of interaction and playtime. At this time we’re just unable to provide that and keep up with all of his medical needs.
