Story
We got Storm Nov 20th from a friend that was giving him away. He is 3 months old, and very friendly and energetic. He likes to play and he loves eating! Storm would love to have a scratching post because he loves to mess with his paws. He's house trained and you would love to keep him as a pet.

Story
Ed is a 7-month-old VERY friendly boy who loves to be pet! Ed is litterbox trained, does well on car-rides, and he gets along with other cats. He is also very food-motivated (not food aggressive though)! Ed would benefit from being in a home in which people are around more often than not to make sure he doesn't get into anything he shouldn't. We are not able to keep such a sweet boy due to a lack of resources and space for two cats. No special needs. Not declawed. Not microchipped. Not neutered (have not had any spraying issues either). He is fully vaccinated for Rabies, FVRCP, and tested negative for FIV. He has been indoors since we took him in about a month ago.

Story
I got Fig last year from APS Durham. She's been great with our dog and one of our cats who is her age, but she doesn't get along with our other cat (who is around 9 years old). Fig likes roughhousing and our dog and the cat who is her age play with her just fine, but she bullies the older cat. Fig will pounce on her even though she hisses at her and acts very anxious around her. We've tried everything we can think of, including recommendations from our vet, but I think Fig just needs to live in a home where she can either be the only cat or be with cats her age who will chase her back and want to play with her. Given my wife's health issues, losing her job, and a lot of other stressors, Fig isn't getting the love she needs. She's very playful and sweet (to humans), I think she just needs a good environment without an older cat to terrorize. Fig's birthday is Sunday, March 9th 2024 so she is 1y9mo old. She is up to date on all vaccines and is healthy. She's microchipped and spayed.

Story
Willow was living in the woods all alone as a very tiny kitten. We worked hard to trap her and within a surprisingly short amount of time, she became extremely friendly and loving...as you can see in her pictures! She attaches to humans amazingly well (perhaps since she was separated from her mama at such a young age-she seeks affection). She has been living and playing with our two housecats and they get along very well (we estimate she is 3 months old). As much as we've bonded and would LOVE to keep her, we care for many community cats in our neighborhood that aren't as friendly, domesticated, and adoptable as Willow - so we hope to find her a forever home who can give her the time and energy she deserves!

Story
Captain Henrietta Morgan is a brave adventurer. She was the first kitten we rescued from under our shed this summer after returning ashore. And she's taught every cat since how to love and be loved. Morgan loves lounging in a hammock while you work or watch a movie. And if you're reading a book, guess who will be there with you! The only thing she loves more than food is her sister Jackie, who she's always grooming, snuggling, and playing with. They're a bonded pair so you get double the sweetness for the same amount of work. We'd love to keep her (and her sister Jackie), but our work on the water 6 months of the year would impossible for her.

Story
Raymond Usher is looking for a new forever home by no fault of his own. His previous owners had a change in living situations and individuals in the household are allergic to cats. Raymond is a curious, quirky and loving young adult cat! He enjoys playing with flirt poles, sitting for yummy treats, climbing cat towers and bird watching out the window! He was raised with an older male cat that he has known since he was a kitten but has not met any other adult cats. He has been an amazing foster brother to many young kittens in his lifetime so far! Raymond was raised with a cat friendly, small dog that respected his space. He would need slow introductions with any cat friendly dog, as he may be wary of larger dogs. If Raymond sounds like a fit for you and your family, please reach out!

Story
is a neutered sweet, curious orange kitty under a year old. He’s playful, affectionate, and loves attention. He enjoys interactive play like chasing toys and gentle play-fighting. He’s litter box trained, doesn’t scratch furniture, and has a big personality. He’d thrive as the only pet or with animals who match his energy. Rehoming is hard, but it’s out of love — he deserves a home that can give him the attention and playtime he craves. 🧡
