Story
This sweet and loving boy was in a home for 6 years until his dad decided he no longer wanted the responsibility. He surrendered him to Animal Care and Control regardless of the fact that he would likely end up on the euthanasia list. Of course he did and thankfully a wonderful foster stepped up for him and I was able to save his life. He is a very sweet, happy go lucky guy. He loves walks and adores car rides. He will make someone a very happy pet parent. He is good with dogs, but no unneutered males. Coco keeps to himself so likely would prefer to be an only. He loves his stuffed animals and even likes to take them on his walks.

Story
Meet GIGI – Sweet as Pie and Ready for Her Forever Home GIGI is a 1½-year-old female Old English Bulldog (around 50 pounds) with a smile that will melt your heart. This sweet-as-pie girl is gentle, affectionate, and full of love. She gets along with everyone she meets – people, dogs, and even cats – making her a wonderful fit for just about any family. GIGI has an easygoing temperament and is happiest when she’s right by your side, sharing her love and loyalty. Big Smiles & a Bigger Heart One look at GIGI’s big, goofy grin and you’ll fall in love – she’s known for a heart-melting smile that can light up any room. More than just a pretty face, GIGI has a heart of gold. She’s extremely loyal and loves to stay as close as possible to her humans. If you’re on the couch, she’ll likely snuggle up next to you; if you move to another room, she’ll trot right behind. GIGI would even do well off-leash because she never wants to wander far from the people she loves. Her favorite place in the world is next to you, and she’ll make sure you know you’re never alone. From Couch Potato to Happy Explorer GIGI came from a very inactive household and was a bit of a couch potato, but now she’s discovering the joy of an active life. In her foster home, she enjoys three walks a day as part of a gentle weight management plan, and she’s thriving with her new routine. You can see her eyes light up when it’s time for a walk or play – she’s gaining stamina and confidence every day, proving that with a little encouragement and activity, she can truly blossom. Her ideal forever family will keep up this positive momentum with daily walks, playtime, and adventures to continue her healthy journey. GIGI has shown that with love and exercise, she’s becoming a happy, fit companion who’s always up for a stroll around the neighborhood or a romp in the yard. Healthy & Loved (Skin Care in Progress!) Like many bulldogs, GIGI has some sensitive skin and is currently getting treatment for a few minor issues – but the good news is Paws Fur Recovery will cover the cost of her treatment while she’s in foster care. GIGI doesn’t let a few medicated baths or ointments dampen her spirit at all. In fact, she’s a champ during her skin care routine – patient and trusting through every bath and ointment application. With a little TLC, her coat (and those adorable wrinkles) will be in tip-top shape in no time. Aside from these mild skin issues, GIGI is in great health and ready to share a lifetime of love with her new family. The Perfect Home for GIGI This loving pup will thrive in a home that balances cuddle time with play time. She’d love a family that enjoys daily walks and maybe some weekend adventures, so she can keep building her fitness and confidence. GIGI is so people-oriented that a fenced yard is a bonus but not a necessity – even off-leash, she tends to stick right by your side. She’s wonderfully social, getting along with other dogs and even cats, and her gentle, patient nature suggests she’d be great with respectful kids as well. Ultimately, GIGI’s perfect home is one where she’s cherished as a true family member, included in everyday activities, and never short on love (or belly rubs!). Adoption Requirements Paws Fur Recovery wants to ensure GIGI finds the very best forever home. Interested adopters should note the following requirements:    •   Home Check: A quick home visit will be required to make sure GIGI’s new environment is safe and suitable for her.    •   Other Pets: If you have other pets, we’ll need to verify vet records. All resident pets must be spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations for everyone’s health and safety.    •   Foster-to-Adopt: GIGI will be placed in a foster-to-adopt arrangement. This means you’ll foster her first (with the rescue continuing to cover her skin treatment during this period) to ensure it’s a perfect match, and then you’ll finalize her adoption. It’s a great way to let GIGI settle in and make sure she’s the right fit for your family – though we’re pretty sure her sweet nature and loyalty will win you over quickly! Ready to Meet Your New Best Friend? GIGI has so much love and joy to share, and she can’t wait to find her forever family. If you think your home might be the perfect match for this smiling, loyal girl, we’d love to hear from you! To apply to foster or adopt GIGI, please visit www.pawsfurrecovery.org and fill out an application. Be prepared for a home full of tail wags, doggy grins, and constant companionship. GIGI is ready to wiggle her way into your heart and home – don’t let this sweetheart slip by. Come meet GIGI and see just how special she truly is!

Story
Andy is a lovable, goofy 6-year-old, 50lb English Bulldog looking for a calm, kid- and pet-free home where he can soak up all the attention. He’s house- and crate-trained but thrives on frequent potty breaks, so a family with a flexible schedule would be ideal. He’s prone to UTIs, but otherwise, he’s a healthy boy who just needs prescription food to keep his bladder in check. This big-headed cuddlebug thinks he’s a lap dog and wants to be as close to his humans as possible. Whether it’s snuggling in bed, watching TV, or showing off his best puppy-dog eyes for extra treats. He loves chewing on his favorite toys and bones, and he’s always up for a game of fetch. If you’re looking for a low-energy best friend who will fill your home with love, laughs, and a little bit of slobber, Andy is your guy! (Andy loves his naps so hopefully you don't mind some adorable snoring!)Adopt Andy at www.AbandonedPetRescue.orgTo meet this adoptable pet, please fill out an adoption application at www.abandonedpetrescue.org and a team member will contact you to schedule an appointment.

Story
Gilby is a handsome litttle short stack with a face expressive enough for Hollywood stardom. He is a surprisingly shy little dude when he first meets you but within seconds he is asking for pets and ear scratches. He loves to play and has dog friends if all ages and sizes. He is a terrific playmate and will always make sure everyone is having fun. If another dog takes a toy out of his mouth during play he just shrugs his shoulders and lets the toy go - he is completely non-reactive and not confrontational. Gilby loves to sit out in the yard and watch the world go by. His favorite spot is beneath the banana tree where he will relax, roll a little and take naps. He is an absolute delight.
