A kind woman saw this horrific act and fortunately, Ray hopped in her car so she could bring him to Abandoned Pet Rescue. Ray is about [age] old and in overall good health besides having normal senior traits like arthritis. Ray does have dry eyes, but he's very good for his eye drops and this qualifies him for APR's Medical Adoption Program, which means the drops will be covered by APR. Ray weighs [weight], but he looks smaller and he walks slow and gentle on a leash. He is potty trained and this happy boy is always wagging his tail and snuggling up for kisses. Ray is a volunteer favorite so he's gone on several day outings with them and everyone raves how sweet and well-behaved he is! Ray is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
