** PLEASE EMAIL questions, please DO NOT call. We are a volunteer based group and are unable to handle the call volume. WE HOLD ADOPTIONS ON SATURDAYS & SUNDAYS FROM 10-4 PM at our Adoption Center. Our adoption center is located next to CAL Ranch at 232 North Jones (I-95) Suite 170. NO APPOINTMENT NECESSARY, just walk right in. Daisy is about 2 yrs old and weighs about 32 lbs. Unfortunately, she came into a shelter as a stray so we have no back history, more will be known about me soon. This poor girl has a very rough life made into a puppy making machine. When she came into the shelter, she had wounds on her ears from flies biting her. Her coat was filthy and she had eye infections from eye entropion (in both eyes) that is now repaired. She is now in a foster home being treated like a queen. FROM HER FOSTER: Daisy came to us as a stray and was not used to living in a home. However over the past 10 days (while recovering from spay and eye surgery), she has shown a lot of potential. House training has been coming along great and there have been no accidents in several days. She also recently learned how to go down stairs! Miss Daisy is learning and getting more comfortable in a home every day. She does well in the crate at night but would prefer a spot on the bed. Daisy is very cuddly and loves to be loved. She will tap you with her paw to let you know she wants to be pet. While her favorite past time is being pet, she also enjoys chewing on a good bone. Daisy has a big personality and will make a great companion! She is very interested in cats and will try to chase them. PLEASE FILL OUT an adoption inquiry if you are interested in meeting her. https://apath4paws.org/adoption-application/ A Path 4 Paws holds adoption events at our Adoptions Center, located at 232 N. Jones Blvd, Suite 170 right next to CAL Ranch (North Jones/ I-95). Please bring your dog(s) for a meet and greet (if applicable) Please bring your entire family so everyone can meet. If you are interested in Daisy, please contact dogrescuelv@hotmail.com to confirm the dog you are interested in, will be attending that particular event. Story
Natalie is an adorable English Bulldog/Boster Terrier mix who's about 2 years old and approximately 35 pounds. This poor girl recently had puppies and then was dumped on the side of the road in East LA where she sat there waiting for her cruel, inhumane owner to return. Fortunately, someone who lived across the street noticed her and picked her up and contacted us. Natalie's so sweet and gentle and must be missing her puppies. She loves attention and bonds very quickly. She's a well-behaved little girl but would probably do best in a home as the only dog - she deserves all the undivided attention and love she can get. Natalie is amazing, and such an easy dog to have around. She would be great with kids and has a calm demeanor. She gets along with other dogs and is friendly with strangers, but she doesn't like cats. If you are interested in meeting and possibly adopting Natalie, the first step is to submit an adoption application. Please go to our website www.k9bestfriendsforever.com and click on "Adopt" which will take you to our online application form.

Story
**Special Needs- Please read bio** Introducing Rocky, the one-year-old black tri-English Bulldog with a heart of gold and a spirit that knows no bounds. Despite facing adversity at a young age, Rocky's resilience and zest for life shine through. Rocky's journey began when he found himself at the shelter, surrendered by his owners and facing an uncertain future. Placed on the euthanasia list, Rocky's fate hung in the balance until we rescued him. While Rocky may have some rear-end mobility issues, he refuses to let anything hold him back. With determination and perseverance, he navigates the world around him with grace and tenacity, proving that obstacles are merely stepping stones on the path to greatness. Though Rocky may be incontinent, he requires no special bladder or fecal expression, making his care routine manageable and stress-free. His friendly and outgoing nature endears him to all who meet him, both human and canine alike. Whether romping around with his furry friends or cuddling up with his favorite humans, Rocky embraces life with enthusiasm and joy. He's equally at home in a household with other dogs or as the center of attention in a loving family with children, all he truly wants is a cuddle. As Rocky awaits his forever home, he embodies the true spirit of resilience and hope. With his infectious spirit and unwavering determination, he's ready to embark on the next chapter of his journey—a journey filled with love, laughter, and endless adventures.

Story
Betty is a complete mess! But she is so special and personable, she is the most beautiful soul - inside as well as out.Betty was scheduled for euthanasia. For no reason other than a skin condition. She was missing 90% of her fur, itchy, covered in wounds and scabs. She is looking and doing better, she is on a hypoallergenic food and sees a doggie dermatologist to see if there is anything else we should or could be doing for her. She loves cuddles and bum scratches and is looking forward to having her own fur back so she no longer has to wear sweaters and coats! We still have a bit to go, but we are enthusiastic that Betty will make a full recovery and a wonderful companion! We require professional obedience training from a certified trainer for ALL adoptions. If you are interested in meet or adoption me, please fill out an adoption application at www.boxersandbuddies.com
