✨ Meet Walter ✨ Walter came into rescue quietly and quickly last week while we were juggling a million things — baby Finch, multiple vet appointments, and everything in between. He is an owner surrender, about 3 years old, small, sturdy, and absolutely adorable 🥹 Walter is: 🐾 Neutered 🐾 Fully vetted 🐾 Potty trained 🐾 Not destructive 🐾 Pretty healthy overall He’s a super duper sweet, affectionate little tank 💪🐶 He loves people, does great with other dogs, and is overall a very mellow, easygoing, happy guy. His foster reports he’s just a genuinely good dog to have around ❤️ Walter does need a few days to trust though, particularly around being picked up/handled. He is super friendly but does not want to be made to do anything- not an uncommon feature in many male English we see 😂 But it’s pretty easy to just pop a leash on him to move him or use a treat until he trusts. ⚠️ Because Walter can be a bit stubborn, we are requesting no children in his new home — just to keep everyone safe and set him up for success. 🩺 Walter is currently being treated for an ear infection and will go home with his meds, but otherwise he’s been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and is ready to roll. ⏰ URGENT NEED: Walter needs a foster or forever home by February 3rd, as his temp foster has to travel for work. Walter’s adoption fee is $650 ‼️ Please make sure that ALL members and people living in your home are agreeable to adopting BEFORE filling out an application. Meet Popeye — our sweetest lug of a man, and yes… we are completely obsessed with him 🥹🐾 Popeye is 9 years old and spent his entire life being used as a breeder dog. Until coming into rescue, he had never lived in a home, never known love, comfort, or compassion from humans 💔➡️❤️ When he came to us, Popeye had: 🩹 Interdigital cysts left untreated for years 🦠 A severe case of ringworm 🧴 A very bad skin and ear infections We’re happy to say the ringworm and skin infection are fully cleared up 🙌✨ The cysts are improving, though they may be something he manages long-term with routine foot care, and he also has some stubborn ear infections we’re continuing to treat. In agreement with our vets, Popeye will remain intact — due to his age and overall health, neuter surgery is not in his best interest 🩺💙 And despite everything he’s endured… this boy has learned how to love, and wow is he good at it 🥰 He will happily rest his heavy, heavy head anywhere it fits — especially your lap. He enjoys toys 🧸, naps most of the day 😴, and has blossomed from a dog who didn’t want to move to one who loves to cruise and wander around his space. ✨ Non-destructive ✨ No crate needed ✨ Easygoing, gentle soul Popeye is working on going potty outside, but because he was used as a breeder and left intact his whole life, he does tend to mark. He wears belly bands during the day with zero issues 👍 🚗 Popeye does not love car rides, so we are seeking a local adoption or close surrounding states only to keep him safe and comfortable. 💲 Adoption fee-$200 👉 Please make sure that ALL members and people living in your home are agreeable to adopting BEFORE filling out an application. Nova is the English Bulldog we took in right before Christmas 🎄. Almost immediately, we learned she was suffering from pyometra, a life-threatening uterine infection 😞. We were able to fundraise and get Nova the emergency, life-saving surgery she desperately needed 🙏✨ She spent a few days recovering at our rescue President’s house and is now medically stable 💪💗 — but she URGENTLY needs a foster or foster-to-adopt home. 🐾 About Nova 🐾 💙 Approx. 4 years old 💙 Overweight at ~67 lbs (she definitely needs some healthy weight loss) 💙 Very dog-friendly 💙 Extremely people-friendly — she LOVES everyone she meets 💙 Mellow, low-key, and just wants love. She literally melts when you pet her 💙 Doing well with a doggy door and pottying outside (just needs guidance in a new environment) Nova does have a minor injury on one front paw pad that we’re treating 🩹. Dogs who spend most of their lives crated often struggle when they finally get to walk on real surfaces, and her weight doesn’t help — but we’re addressing it and she’s improving 💕 She will also eventually need entropion surgery that the rescue will cover once she looses some weight. It’s obvious Nova has been used for breeding for most of her life 😔. She’s had many litters, and likely nursed puppies that weren’t even hers. Some of her nipples hang so low they nearly touch the ground… yet through all of that, she is nothing but sweet, gentle, grateful, and affectionate 🥹💖 Her ears? Velvet. Her tummy? The softest you’ve ever touched. Her heart? Pure gold. ✨ Nova is long overdue for the love and attention she’s never truly had — and she will absolutely soak it up 🫶

Dante is a two and a half year-old English Bulldog mix. He is very active, sweet, and playful, and he thrives when he gets plenty of attention and movement. Dante has a high energy level and loves walks and chew toys. He does well with kids and enjoys being around people. He has not lived with cats, so a cat-free home or slow introductions would be best. While Dante has not had formal training yet, he has a wonderful personality and would do great with a family willing to invest time in basic training and daily exercise. He is not neutered. This rehoming decision was made with Dante’s best interest in mind. Unfortunately, we are unable to give him the quality time and active lifestyle he truly deserves. He would thrive in a home with a large patio or yard and an active family who can keep up with his energy and give him the love, play, and structure he needs. Dante is a happy, affectionate dog who will make an amazing companion for the right family.
