Meet Onyx: The Sun-Loving, Snuggly Bulldog Onyx is a three-year-old bulldog weighing 45 pounds, known for his gentle, silly, and affectionate personality. He’s the ideal companion for anyone seeking a relaxed couch buddy with a playful side. Onyx enjoys tug-of-war, chewing on his favorite bones, basking in the sunshine, and—most of all—snuggling up with his people. If you want a loyal shadow and a sofa partner, Onyx is the perfect fit. He thrives on companionship and gets along well with his 25-pound French bulldog foster sister, though he sometimes forgets his own size during play. For homes with other pets, active supervision and gentle guidance are important to keep everyone comfortable and happy. Onyx was lovingly surrendered to Pixie Mamas Rescue after two bladder stone surgeries. He’s recovered well, but his future family will need to support his health with a lifelong prescription diet (Hill’s Science Diet u/d). Occasional urinary accidents may happen due to residual inflammation, so patience and consistency will help him adjust. His previous owner described Onyx as kid-friendly, though this hasn’t been observed in his foster home yet. Above all, Onyx is a loving soul who wants a cozy spot to nap, a toy to tug, and a family to adore. With attentive care for his health and thoughtful supervision during play, Onyx will reward his forever family with unwavering loyalty, warmth, and irresistible bulldog charm. Buffalo Pug welcomes Scotty! Scotty is a roughly 60 pound, 9 year-old English Bulldog. He is housebroken, leash trained and crate trained. Scotty does well with other dogs and has not been around cats. Scotty has a history of seasonal flank alopecia and gets frequent ear infections, but both of those can be easily treated with meds and baths. Scotty needs to be in a home with adults only or older, respectful children. He does not do well with smaller children and needs a quiet home with minimal activity. We are pleased to welcome Miss Mabel. Miss Mabel is a 70 lb, 12 year old purebred English Bulldog who is your typical pushy bulldog. She wants to be the boss, but is also a very sweet girl who loves people. Teenage kids are best for her as she likes to play rough. She does not do stairs well in the home and would do best in a home with a fenced -in yard and another dog as she loves to play. Miss Mabel is a total toy hog and is very vocal when she plays. She is crate trained, leash trained, and is house trained as long as she is kept on a schedule. She will require an owner dedicated to helping her shed a few pounds and regain her girlish figure. Hot Cocoa is an active 3 year old bulldog who loves to play. In true Bulldog style her play is loud- as are her snores! This may be off putting to other dogs. She tends to go submissive if the other dog gives her a stern warning. She needs an active home with a confident leader as she is bulldog stubborn at times. If there are children in the home ,they should be over 10 years old so she doenst knock them down. She gets the zoomies often! She is working on not barking at people/dogs when she wants attention/play along with nibbling on fingers in play. She sleeps in her crate with no barking- however, she will urinate in her bed inside the crate. This is behavioral/hormonal , she will need a consistent potty schedule to help correct this behavior. Her hormones settling down after her spay will help as well. A fenced in yard is preferable for this girl- she loves to stroll around the yard as she takes the world in. Vayda is your typical laid back Bulldog who loves her soft blankets, adores all toys (her favorites are squeaky toys)and belly rubs are the way to this girls heart! She has lived with kids of all ages with no issues, a no cat/small animal home is required for her as she will give chase. She would do well as an only dog or with another dog with the same laid back personality as her. She knows basic commands such as sit, stay, and down. She is leashed trained, however continued training will be needed in her forever home. She is almost potty trained, but she does have accidents, especially with the cold snow of Buffalo. She will use a potty pad if she has access to them. She does have some arthritis in her backend, so her ideal forever home would be a single story home, or one with limited stairs, to help preserve her joints. NY State Rescue Registry: RR363**
