Howdy! My name is Blu! I am a Handsome , 10 year old bulldog mix . I am fully vetted and potty trained. I am not only smart but active & I love to go for walks, explore! I have alot of energy for my age so you will get your steps in for sure! I LOVE LOVE to just snuggle & am always ready to watch movies or share dinner ! I will chase a ball & will entertain you with my witty personality! I walk well on a leash, knows "sit" "stay" "wait" "back" and "down" "leave it". I wait to go out of the house and come back in. He loves to watch the world go by out the window. He needs a 6' fence so he can zoom. I love humans & I dont mind older children (over 15 )who are respectful. I definetely need a home committed to giving me exercise! I loves hiking, walking, & I sleep very well when worn out at the end of the day! PS I don love to nap in the sun too! I sometimes have anxiety if I do not get the daily exercise so please know I will settle in with an active lifestyle.. Lets talk about Winston ! I can not believe he is still with is , he is our 2nd longest resident ! Is there a reason ? He is a bulldog ! Winston liked to take walks on his own and ended up at the dog Warden's office and the owner was contacted and they came in and surrendered him after owning him his entire life 🥲 How sad is that ? He is around 7 to 8 years old ! He is good with other dogs - just pretty chill and keeps to himself alot ! His foster says he is a greay dog! Housebroken- yes once he gets over the first day of being in the home ! He is on 4 health lamb brand food because all the other food he was given gave him the itches! He does need to be fed separately from other dogs only cause he does not like to share his food- but hey that is an easy solution - would you someone else reaching on to your dish while your eating ? He also hates bathes for some reason - maybe he is part pig 🐖- who knows ! But we do know one thing he is adorable and just very mellow boy whose just patiently waiting for his new family . He is neutered, microchipped, current on vaccines, heartworm tested , current on flea and heartworm prevention and waiting for you to come sweep him off his feet ! Could you be his person ? Hi! I’m Zaida — my name means “to prosper” or “to grow” and that describes my journey perfectly. My life hasn’t always been easy. My original owner passed away, and I suddenly found myself with family who kept me outside all the time. When I came into rescue, I didn’t really know what it meant to live inside a home or be part of a family. But wow… what an amazing new world I’ve discovered! Every day I’m learning and growing. I love my people more than anything in the whole world. I’m a smart girl; I’m both praise & food-motivated, so training with me is truly fun. I’m eager to please, and I just want to make my humans proud. A consistent, confident owner would be best for me as I continue training. I am also potty trained! I sleep quietly in my crate at night, but my foster mom is working with me on being comfortable in the crate during the day. I'm making great progress! I love to go on walks! I am learning how to be the best girl on a leash. I don’t react to other dogs on walks at all! I haven’t lived with children, but I’ve met several and been fine with them. I get jumpy when I’m excited. A home with older, dog savvy kids would be best for me.
