Story
Luna was placed with me to help find a new forever home. She has been with previous owner since she was a pup but baby number 2 is on the way and Luna didn’t adjust wheel to the first baby. Luna DOB is 10/22/2017. She would do best in a household with older children who respect the boundaries of a dog and adults. It is clear Luna was loved but then she had to entertain her self. She loves to play ball and brings it back to you for you to throw again! She can do this for hours !!! Still warming up to me being affectionate to her I feel she just hasn’t had affection in a long time! Luna was trained as a puppy has no issues in the home and LOVES her crate! She finds comfort in laying in it. She has not been socialized at all so if introducing to another dog you need a person who is used to taking the proper time and proper way to introduce. I do feel Luna be would thrive in a home being the only dog. She is dying for all the attention she can get!

Luis is an energetic, super social 2 year old, 39 lb. dog who came to us as a stray. We noticed right away that Luis didn’t seem to need much time to adjust—this outgoing pup made friends on his very first day! We’re not sure why, but Luis’ big heart and joyous personality hasn’t helped him find his forever home. After a month in the shelter, he is at high risk of behavioral decline and kennel stress and urgently needs to leave the shelter with an adopter or rescue partner who can provide him with lots of exercise, attention and all the love and fun he deserves! Luis contracted an upper respiratory infection during his stay in the shelter, but has been taking his medication and is out of isolation. Otherwise, he appears to be a healthy dog at this time with the possible exception of his ability to sniff out and enjoy a remarkable, slightly unnerving, number of hot dogs. Luis has had a good dog meet in the shelter and may enjoy a canine companion to burn off some energy. While he is a good-natured and friendly dog, at this time he would do best in a home without young children given his puppy-like and exuberant behaviors and one observed instance of possible guarding over toys. 2 years old - good with dogs , older kids and not sure about cats. He was dumped on the side of the road and hit by a car before being rescued. His leg was beyond repair and had to be amputated, but don’t let that fool you—Trio is living his best life! He’s playful, affectionate, and as happy as can be, with no signs of slowing down. This sweet boy is a snuggle expert who loves belly rubs, hanging out with his people, and getting all the love he deserves. Despite his disability, Trio gets around like a pro—he’s as active and fun-loving as any pup with four legs, and his positive attitude will inspire you every single day. Chai! This adorable and sweet approx 8-9 mth old bulldozer is Chai. Chai is a low riding bully breed with gorgeous blue eyes, cropped ears (not done by us!) and the cutest underbite. Chai came to us a few months ago from a local shelter where she ended up as a very underweight stray with mange, a limp and just overall in poor condition. After a couple of months in foster care Chai is thriving, in every way possible. Her skin has healed and her leg, due to a previous injury, does not give her any issues at this time, although she may need to be kept on joint supplements to avoid future issues. She is good with people, loves car rides and is good with other dogs. She is a little clueless about how annoying her puppy-ish antics can be to other dogs at times, so any canine siblings would need to be tolerant. Chai is working on housebreaking and is doing well, although she does still have the occasional pee accidents. She does not do well in a crate, but her foster mom has found she does just fine being gated into a kitchen or other smaller area or room. Chai is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and preventative vet care. She is also microchipped. Interested?
