Berle came to us as a newborn with a cleft palate and had to grow up without a mama dog to help teach him manners and boundaries, so he’s learned how to charm his way into just about everything. He is incredibly smart, full of personality, and definitely knows how to test limits with his goofy bulldog shenanigans. Berle will be having his palate repaired in just a few days and once he’s healed, he’ll officially begin searching for his forever family. He’s a fun, spunky, playful little guy who loves other dogs and does well with cats too. Because he can be protective over things he considers “his,” we think he would do best in a home with older children and with someone who has experience with bulldogs or other strong-willed breeds. Like many brachycephalic dogs, Berle is not tolerant of heat and will need a family who understands the special care these squishy-faced pups require. In return, you’ll get endless laughs, bulldog sass, and a loyal best friend who will keep life entertaining every single day. Meet Axle. Axle came to us as a local surrender due to no fault of his own.This high energy, handsome, Old English Bulldog is 5 years young. Axle plays rough and needs super tough toys. He can sit and give paw although his paws are like bear claws! Taking treats needs some coaching to "take it nicely". Crating him goes well when you toss in a few treats and ask him to crate up. He is also fed in the crate. He is 4 legs with 70 lbs of muscle and rough houses with his foster family dogs and chases the cat, but it's all in fun. He can be easily redirected when he gets to be too much for his furry friends. He is going to want to sleep on your bed to be his happiest. Axle is house trained. He's very lovable and when he settles down and he will often sit with you and watch the Phillies game. Axle is now neutered, up to date with vaccines and microchipped. hi Lola, this baked potato is an almost 3 year old English Bulldog. She was surrendered to us from a commercial breeder when they no longer wanted her. She is 62 lbs. Lola is the definition of a calm, low energy, leisure dog. She is easy going, go with the flow type that has been great with all volunteers and had no issues with any handling. She is looking for a home where she can snooze the day away in comfy beds and get lots of ear rubs. She would need to meet any resident dogs. She will come spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and 4dx tested. Lola was suspected to have bladder stones where she came to us but thankfully, Xrays at the vet showed that none were present.
