Meet Bessie, a stunning bulldog with a heart of gold and an incredible story of resilience! Born in 2019, Bessie came to the shelter in rough shape—emaciated and in labor. She had an emergency C-section to remove a deceased puppy but has since made a full recovery. Best of all, this sweet girl will never have to worry about puppies again!
Despite everything she’s been through, Bessie’s spirit shines bright. She’s a happy, laid-back girl who loves people, treats, belly rubs, and cozying up in a comfy bed. Bessie is looking for a bulldog-savvy forever home that can offer her all the love and relaxation she deserves. She does need daily eye drops and has battled ear infections, but with proper care, she’s doing great. She’s also house-trained if let out regularly and isn’t destructive, so no need for a crate!

OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN TEXAS OR COLORADO BUT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AND TRANSPORT OUT OF STATE. Read below for more information.
All of our dogs are located in a foster home in Texas or Colorado. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Mutts N Such direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc).
Our out of state adoption fee is $350 plus transport (varies by location). This fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, fecal analysis, spay/neuter for pets 6 months & older, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old. All dogs will be current on flea/heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days.
