This sweet boy was surrendered to a local animal control after his previous family became overwhelmed with too many animals. Even with all the change in his life, Bear has remained gentle, friendly, and full of heart.He has done wonderfully with the other dogs here at the facility and has shown an easygoing, social nature. Our veterinary team found no health concerns during his intake exam. Luna originally came into my care as a temporary situation while her owner went on maternity leave. The understanding was that this would not be permanent. Unfortunately, her owner has since abandoned her, and Luna has remained with me without any long-term plan in place. Luna is a sweet dog at her core. She is capable of being loving, playful, and loyal. She is crate trained, will stay in her kennel without issue, and is mostly housebroken. She also does not chew on furniture, which speaks to her ability to settle when given structure. However, despite these positives, she has not been properly trained and lacks basic manners. Luna plays very rough and does not always understand boundaries. While she is not an overly aggressive dog, her energy and strength can be overwhelming. Because of this, I would not recommend her for a home with young children.
