Story
Reuben is a handsome hunk of love who's 90% couch potato, 10% zoomies. This charming boy enjoys the simple things in life: short play sessions and long naps on the couch. Reuben is currently blossoming in his foster home and getting comfier being a full-on cuddle bug. He knows some basic commands, is eager to please, and is working with a trainer to help him realize that strangers aren’t scary—they’re just potential new fans! He's learning that he doesn’t need to be the security team for the whole house. Reuben's ideal home is a calm household with few surprises and not too many people coming and going. He is best as the only dog but could possibly live with another dog after a slow, respectful intro (he’s not about that “love at first sniff” life). Reuben takes his time warming up to new folks, but once you're in, you're in—prepare for silly antics, adorable snorts, and a bully-style tantrum or two if he doesn’t get his way (don’t worry, it’s cute). With a little patience, he melts into a big ol’ softie who just wants to be loved. So if you're looking for a heart-stealing goof who’ll keep your feet warm and your heart full—Reuben might just be your guy. Adopters have 30 days of free access to 1-on-1 text and email support from trainers at Petcademy to help make every pet's transition into their new home as smooth as possible.
