Introducing Wally, a dog who has somehow survived all the cruelties that life has thrown at him and still has the sweetest disposition! Wally was found wandering the land in Sampson County, NC, and is now in the safe custody of a rescuer in the area, but he needs a foster home while he recuperates from his past experiences. The poor guy is very emaciated and only weighs 40 pounds. He is little more than a skeleton but anyone who meets him is enamoured by his easy ways and gentle nature. The videos show that he is good with other dogs and cats and he didn't even complain when he got a bath! Such a good sport! Wally definitely has some bully breed in him but that ridge on top of his head could indicate a retriever gene or two as well. Whatever his breed, though, he is a wonderful pet, good on a leash and eager to please his humans! He is now fully vaccinated and will be neutered when he is healthy enough for surgery. Meanwhile, if you are looking for a sweet companion, you may want to consider Wally. He promises to be a loyal friend! Meet Indy !! This cute nub tailed bulldog is so happy and full of life. She is so much fun and loves everyone. If you’re looking for an active little cutie then she might be the one! Indy is a 2 year old, female, Bulldog and pitbull type mix. She weighs 47 pounds and is full grown. She is already vaccinated, microchipped and spayed. She is thankfully Heartworm negative. Sadly she came to us with some wounds from her previous owners leaving a harness on her to tight that cut into her skin in several places. She is healing up but the vet said the hair may not regrown due to the damage. (Most of it is under her arms and it is not extremely noticeable anymore.) Indy is happy! happy! happy! She loves everyone! She has been fantastic with other dogs. She absolutely loves having another dog to run with. She can be a kind of in your face dog as bulldogs are so other dogs will need to be tolerant of her pushy play antics. She doesn’t always pick up on the cues that they are getting annoyed with her. We have not had her around cats yet. She’s probably going to be a bit to playful for them. She loves everyone and has done great with kids so far. She would be best with kids that were a bit older as she does still get very excited and jump on people. Smaller/younger kids like toddlers may accidentally get knocked over. She also does some play chewing on hands and arms that we are working on. Another thing to consider with kids. Indy LOVES any type of ball. Her soccer ball is a favorite. She will entertain herself for hours with a ball. She likes you to throw it so she can chase it but she’s not big on giving it back. She prefers the game where you chase her while she keeps the ball. If you do grab the ball while she has it she will drop it for you but you've got to catch her first 😂 It is adorable how happy she is when she gets her ball play time. She’s great on car rides and does well on the leash once she settles down. She’s crate trained and will go in when asked. She needs a plastic style crate as that helps her feel more comfortable when left at home. She’s done really well with potty training for the most part using a doggie door but still has an occasional accident we think is related to some anxiety. Indy is very active and curious!! She needs a family that has time to exercise her properly. She LOVES to run and play. Loves balls, playing with other dogs or anything active. Having another active dog is best to help with all that energy. She will need a fenced yard to be happy. This little lady is a spitfire of playful joy. She’s Full of life and oh so happy! She will keep you laughing with her adorable funny antics. She does have a chill side also and is up for belly rubs anytime. We have not seen any issues with her sharing toys, treats or food with humans or other animals. She is a bit of a wild child that still has some training to complete but overall she’s a great girl. She’s great with going out in public and being a sweet social girl. As long as your household can provide her the proper outlet for her energy she is an absolutely wonderful dog! Vet and home checks required. FENCED YARD REQUIRED Located in Hampton VA.
