MacAurther After surviving his entire family being euthanized by animal control in his county and testing positive for heartworms he is very eager to find his forever humans.He is super fun and has the personality to match.He loves walks and loves giving kisses,And you can look at his handsome mug and see the love this little survivor has.He was left alive for a reason and that reason is obvious as soon as you meet him.He does like to play rough and really needs a big dog pal to equal his tenacity and energy.He listens like a semi stubborn bulldog but with no malice or ill intent, just goofy innocence.He is breed specific so I encourage anyone inquiring to research it a bit and understand the nature of his breed. FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. The adoption fee of $400 Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea/Tick/Heartworm Prevention, and Sheltering. Adult Dogs are Heartworm Tested and Treated as Needed. FOCCAS does not DNA test or guarantee breed. Story
Roscoe has been searching for his forever home a while now. He is our longest waiting adoptable resident. We’d love to find a home for this senior! Despite his age (approximately 9-10 years old), he's still full of energy and enthusiasm. He longs for a place to call his own, where he can receive unconditional love and care. He enjoys to go on walks, rip and run in a fenced in area and play with toys. He would need to be a companion as an only pet-since humans are his fav and other animals make him nervous. Finding the right home where this is the only caveat, has proved to be the hardest. Thunderstorms make him scared, so weve learned this handsome boy just needs extra comforting cuddles and a covered space to hide until the storm passes ⛈️ . He is such an affectionate boy! He loves back scratches and rubs and all of the volunteers🩵. He does have some joint issues but he does not let it hold him back. He has been on a simple daily pill for arthrithis in his hips and a supplement. We are patiently waiting for the right person to give him a chance-someone willing to take in an older guy with just a few basic needs. Let's help Roscoe find his forever home!
