Ruby is the kind of dog who makes you smile without even trying. This approximately 4-year-old bully mix has been through more than her fair share, coming to us after being confiscated from a home with many other dogs where she was clearly bred repeatedly. Her past shows in her body—her nipples hang low from raising litter after litter—but her spirit? Completely unshaken. Ruby is happy, goofy, and full of life. She greets each day (and every person she meets) with a wagging tail and an infectious joy that’s impossible to ignore. Despite everything she’s been through, she chooses to be soft, silly, and loving—and that says everything about who she is. She has previously done well with other dogs and cats, making her a great candidate for a multi-pet home. Ruby hasn’t been formally kid-tested, but due to her playful, sometimes mouthy nature when she gets excited, she would likely do best with older kids who can handle her enthusiasm and help guide her with gentle boundaries. At her core, Ruby is a sweet, affectionate girl who just wants to be loved for who she is—not for what she can provide. She’s ready to leave her past behind and finally be someone’s cherished companion. If you’re looking for a dog who will bring laughter, love, and a whole lot of personality into your life, Ruby is waiting to meet you. All of our dogs are dewormed, spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and heartworm tested if they are old enough. Co-pilot Vinnie is here to help get you to the dog treats store! Have you ever been?! It's a wonderful place full of every treat you can imagine! He's happy to show you all his favorites. If you adopt Vinnie, you can buckle up for the best couch cuddles, the cutest snores (he's told it's only cute when dogs snore) and all the adventures! Please pack treats, he loves treats! Vinnie is a 6 year old, 77 pound pitty mix. He's potty trained, knows how to sit, down and crawl! Have you seen a large dog crawl? It's adorable! He's working on walking politely but is a quick study and loves to learn! Vinnie would do best as an only dog, no cats either please. He'd do best in a home with kids ages 12+, he may know how old he is but he sure doesn't know how big he is. While he may prefer the only dog lifestyle, you'll be forever entertained by Vinny and his antics. What are you waiting for? Your greatest treat store adventure awaits! Nova is a 35lb adult (5yr-ish) French bulldog mix. She is incredibly sweet and affectionate and would love to find a forever home. She is still working on her housetraining (great with #1, still working on #2). She walks perfectly on a leash and adores snuggles and couch naps. She loves to show her excitement by wagging her whole body! She came into the rescue with a number of health issues - like most Frenchies - and needs an adopter who understands the financial committments of owning this wonderful, but expensive breed. She had a corneal ulcer (being treated with eye medication), a UTI (treated), unaltered (we fixed her), and with heartworms (she's on the slow kill treatment). Despite all of that, her spirit is amazing - full of love and happiness!! Nova is located in Houston TX and will only be transported upon completed adoption. Her adoption fee is $400. Inquiries will not be responded to unless a completed application has been sent. You can fill out an application at www.recycleddogsrescue.org. You must fill out all of the blanks in the application - put "n/a" if one question is not applicable to you.

This boy would live in the car if you would let him. He's calm and quiet as a mouse in the house . Loves to sleep in bed. Doesn't much care for leash walks . Shares his food nicely with others and plays so well at doggy daycare. He's truly a gem and if we didn't have 3 dogs already he would be a keeper hands down !
