Story
🌟 KANE — THE GOLDEN STANDARD 🌟 Now 10 months old, Kane came to us from a home with uncertainty, not being able to rely on the humans providing his care simply put, the situation was too much for his tender young soul. 💔 Kane has been thriving on one of our board members “rescue farm”— running through the fields with a large pack of dogs of all sizes, ages and abilities. He is truly learning what it means to be a dog, and finally understanding what it feels like to be a treasured member of a family and a pack. 🌾🐾 🐾His foster family says he is “the best puppy we’ve ever fostered.” That’s how special he is. 💛 Kane is a dream golden: ✨ Sweet, gentle, soft. ✨ Silly, playful, gloriously squishy ✨ Respectful with dogs, livestock and cats, and good with older kids - teens and up. He is finally breaking free of his fear of contact and opening up to human love, but it has been a slow process - truly, he has preferred the company of other dogs, but he's getting there. Kane needs time to trust humans, and will need a family who can appreciate he the rule of 333 - he will need the time to decompress and relax into a new family situation. Because of his past, we have determined Kane will thrive in a home with these requirements in place: ✔️ Another confident canine companion to show him the ropes ✔️ Respectful children (ages 13+) ✔️ A very secure fenced yard (6 ft) for zoomies and golden grins He’s not built for chaos, but for love — steady, soft, patient love. The real kind. The forever kind. 💛 🐾 Please only apply if your home fits the requirements described above, we are unwavering on these guidelines. We place our dogs where they will truly feel safe, flourish and be loved. Our commitment is to the dogs in our care and we respectfully will decline any home that doesn’t meet Kane’s needs.🧡 Kane is current on vaccinations appropriate for his age, Microchipped and will be adopted to a home with a securely fenced yard for safe playtime, and a contract to ensure neuter by 12 months of age.

Story
Name: Gaon Age: 1 year Sex: Neutered Male Neutered: Yes Breed: Golden Retriever Color: Brown Weight: 14 kg Height (shoulder): 55 cm   Rescue Story   Gaon spent his early life tied to a metal chain fixed to a stake in the ground, severely limiting his movement. As a young and active Golden Retriever, he grew up without the freedom to run or explore during an important socialization period.   When he was rescued in October last year, he was extremely overstimulated and excitable. In the rescue footage, he was even able to pull the deeply embedded stake out of the ground and run around the mountain area.   Due to his high arousal level and impulsive behavior, a veterinary consultation suggested impulse control issues. Since December, Gaon has been staying at a foster home where he has been receiving behavior training along with medication for about 3 months.   With consistent structure and training, Gaon has shown significant improvement and is now much calmer and more stable.   ‍‍ Socialization with People   Gaon is very affectionate and people-oriented. He enjoys attention and will approach both familiar people and strangers to lean against them and ask for pets.   Because he is still young and playful, he can be easily distracted and may move between people looking for attention.   He is comfortable with men and has also shown good tolerance with children under 13.   Anyone can gently lift him by placing arms under his belly, although he may wiggle slightly at first due to excitement.   Gaon can sometimes become nervous when someone is holding a stick-like object such as a broom or mop, and may crouch or appear fearful in those situations.   Socialization with Dogs   When he was first rescued, Gaon would rush toward other dogs out of excitement and lack of social experience. Because of this impulsive approach, conflicts could occur with less tolerant dogs.   After about three months of training and medication, his impulse control has improved significantly.   Currently, he generally ignores other dogs unless they repeatedly bother him or rush toward him while barking.   Gaon tends to be very people-focused and prefers staying near humans rather than playing with other dogs. Because he can show mild jealousy over attention, he may do best as the only dog in the household.   Cats   He has seen stray cats and did not show strong reactions. A proper cat test can be conducted if needed.   Energy Level   Although his energy level has been moderated through training and medication, Gaon is still a young dog who spent much of his early life unable to move freely.   He will benefit from a home that can provide regular exercise, structure, and continued training to help him release his energy in healthy ways.   Walking   Gaon tends to pull on the leash but also pays attention to his handler while walking. He loves greeting people during walks and often wants to approach them for attention.   Other Behaviors   • He does not guard food from people but may growl if another dog approaches while he is eating. • He may show some separation anxiety, so gradual training may be needed at the beginning. • He may bark to express his needs or when he wants attention. • He can get in and out of the car on his own.   Gaon currently uses both indoor pee pads and outdoor potty, but because he sometimes tears up pee pads when bored, outdoor potty training is being encouraged.   He usually eliminates within about one hour after eating, and since he can hold it overnight, he may sometimes have an accident in the morning if not taken out early.   Gaon is a bright, affectionate young dog who has already made great progress with training and care. With a patient home that can continue providing structure, exercise, and guidance, Gaon has the potential to grow into a wonderful and loyal companion.
