Meet Koi!Koi was brought into the shelter December 15th running loose in the city limits of Alpine. Koi has done really well with kids and adults alike. He is playful but very gentle. We have not tested him with other dogs yet but, he seems to be very excited, in a good way, about the other dogs, we can tell he would love to play. Koi has done very well learning to leash walk, he will stay right by you and doesn’t pull. Koi will need some potty training, but that comes with any puppy really. He is a great listener so we believe he will pick up the potty training quickly, he has already learned to sit in a short period of time. This boy is very treat motivated!The staff say their favorite characteristics are that he is a fluffy, loveable and sweet puppy. Meet Sage!Sage came into the shelter December 31st found running loose in the city of Alpine. While we knew where Sage belonged, the previous owner sadly did not reclaim her.Sage lived with other dogs so we believe she would be a great addition to a family who already has a dog. She is still working on leash training but so far, we know that, while a little unsure when you first get going on a walk, she still will not pull and does walk fairly well once you get going. The staff found out fairly quickly she does know how to sit and she loves treats!Favorite characteristics are that she loves to play and has a little sassy side, in a good way!
