🐾🔥 Meet Dante — The Dashing Adventurer With a Heart of Gold 🔥🐾

If you’ve been wishing for a four-legged best friend who can keep up with all your adventures — from weekday hikes to weekend chaos — allow us to introduce Dante, the Australian Shepherd whose life goal is to be included in absolutely everything you do. Yes, everything. If you’re going, he’s going. If you’re sitting, he’s sitting. If you’re eating… well, he’s respectfully observing with hopeful eyes.
At 2 years old and around 45 pounds, Dante is the perfect-sized partner in crime. He’s sweet-natured, active, playful, and handsome enough to make your neighbors ask, “Wow, where’d you get that dog?” (We approve of you bragging about him.)
He’s good with dogs, great with kids, and even gets along with cats — which is impressive given that many Aussies consider cats to be mysterious, poorly timed flock members. Dante says, “No worries, mate. We’re cool.”
He was previously heartworm positive, but he has completed treatment like the brave champ he is and is now cleared and ready for his forever home. Fully vetted, neutered, and house trained — this boy is as turn-key as they come.
A couple things you should know:
• Dante is barky. Not “I’m yelling at every leaf,” but definitely “I have opinions and I would like to share them.”
• Because of that, apartment life = big nope.
• Outdoorsy, active families = HUGE YES. He wants adventures! Hikes! Road trips! Splash zones! Life!
Dante would thrive with a family who will include him in the everyday moments and the big fun ones — from coffee runs and yard projects to camping trips and long scenic walks. He’s happiest when he’s part of the action, right by your side.
He is currently with a neighboring rescue partner — we work together to save as many lives as we can — and we will happily pull him into Hay Dude Rescue to complete his adoption.
