There are three puppies in this letter and they are all female Piper is the largest (16 lbs and 11 weeks old) of this litter and definitely the most dominant of the group, she’s is definitely bossy and will take anything she wants from her sisters, separate from them she’s quite the adventurous one, very affectionate and she loves water, she will quite happily lay down in the wading pool on a nice warm day and enjoy the water. She also likes to splash around in it, and play with a hose, so if you’re looking for a water dog she could be perfect for you!

Poppy is the lightest of the litter at 11lbs 11 weeks old but not the shortest, she’s very slender and also enjoys playing in water, she’s very sweet and very affectionate, and has the most beautiful green eyes. She’s happy to be held and loves to rough and tumble with piper.

Pippa is the smallest of the litter but not the lightest, she’s about 12lbs and 11 weeks old, she’s the shy girl, she’s the cuddliest of the group and in my opinion the sweetest, she’s more than happy to sit by your side or lay in your arms and watch her sisters playing, she adores my older male dog and i think she would benefit from another dog in the home as she does lack confidence a bit.

Story
Chance is a rare to find English Springer Spaniel.  You don’t really see them much as an offering in the rescue world. This 70 pound handsome 7 year old hunk is so very sweet was rescued from a puppy  mill where he was “used” as a stud.  His foster mom rescued him from living outside all his life in a small pen with no comforts that he so very much deserved.  He was not a family pet, but a commodity where he was used to produce puppies so the people could sell them.  Chance was not potty trained of course but he is almost there now and belly bands are used to help him stay out of trouble with marking.  He is not neutered yet due to appointments being scarce. He will be soon and that will certainly help the housebreaking.  The woman who owned him said he came inside the house may be a few times over his life and so he was “rescued” from that life by a dear woman who is now working with Critter Cavalry Rescue to find him a home.  Oh my this dog is a dream and he is so much “loving” the inside life with air conditioning or heat on a colder evening or day.  He will be neutered the 24th May! He loves the water and swimming in his foster’s pond! He does have this really precious smile where it kinda looks like he’s growling but he is NOT! He is the best boy! He loves to sleep amongst the pillows on the bed and for once in his life he is living like he should…a King among Dog Kings!  If want to the be envy of your dog friends, then you  must consider making Chance your very own “chance of a lifetime”.   Please consider Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com   You won’t regret it. Story
Hi, I adopted George on May 25, 2022 from the Animal Protection Society of Durham (North Carolina). George will be 5 on May 21, 2024. We moved to New Jersey in December of 2022. I am looking to find George a new home due to a pregnancy. George is overall a good boy, however when se sees other dogs and will bark and get overexcited, which requires me to use a lot of strength to move him along since he is heavy. This is typically not an issue and I can whisk him away in seconds, however, I do not want to risk overstraining myself on walks as my pregnancy progresses. He is 88 pounds and fully house trained. He has only has two incidents inside (when I first got him) when he had a stomach bug and from wet dog food. He is 100% people friendly (small children included) and has never shown any aggression towards any human. I would describe George as a happy, loving, sometimes very lazy dog (but he loves his walks). He loves naps and loves to follow me around.
