Meet Gasper! DOB: December 2025Weight: 32lbsDisposition: playful, happy, adorableGasper’s life almost looked very different. He is one of 60 lucky dogs we rescued from Manzanillo, where he was facing abandonment or euthanasia. Thanks to the dedicated rescue mission of Angeles de Camino this handsome 30-pound boy got a second chance at life—and now, he’s ready for the ultimate reward: a loving forever home. His PersonalityWith his striking tri-colored markings and sweet expression, Casper is an absolute head-turner, but his heart is even more beautiful than his coat and his incredible airplane ears are amazing when he's alerted to something of interest! The Ultimate Lover: Once Gasper knows he’s safe, his affectionate side shines bright. He is a total cuddle bug who wants nothing more than to be near his humans. He has that wonderful puppy energy and is always up for a fun game or an outdoor romp. With his gentle heart, Gasper can be a little shy when meeting new people for the first time. He just needs a minute to warm up, a few gentle words, and a gentle hand. Once he feels secure, his sweet, loyal personality blooms.Dog Park Approved: Gasper loves other dogs! Having a confident dog sibling in the home could be a great bonus to help him settle in.The Ideal HomeGasper would thrive in a home that understands the patience needed for a rescue pup transitioning to a new environment. A family with another friendly dog, or one willing to give him a bit of time to build his confidence with new faces, will end up with the most loyal, loving companion imaginable.Casper has overcome the odds—now he just needs you.If you're interested in meeting Gasper, please visit our website to fill out an adoption application: www.thebarkinglot.net/adoptOur dogs are located in San Diego County, CA.
