Story
If Tate could talk, he would tell you that he really enjoyed romping around and investigating the shelter yard. Tate is a handsome tric-olored neutered Entlebucher Mountain Dog/Hound dog. He is 2-3yrs old and weighs 75 pounds. He was brought into the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 12/2 as a stray. He has a shiny coat and looks like he’s been well taken care of. Most the time he was in the yard he was investigating everything with his nose. He was playful, high spirited and happy. A few times he started jump on me but did respond when I asked him to stop. He obviously wanted to please. There were times when he would come and rub up against me for affection. He doesn`t know the sit command but does take treats gently. He does have a strong pull on the leash. He visited other dogs as we went by their kennels and didn’t show any aggression. If you have another dog, we advise to ask the shelter for a dog test. Because of his size and energy level, he will need a yard to burn off energy and to explore. Then to come inside and enjoy his family time.

Story
Bella is a gorgeous senior, full Saint Bernard that was adopted from us many years ago. She has had a wonderful life until now. Due to a family situation, they have surrendered Bella back to us though no fault of Bella’s! She weights approximately 100 pounds and is housetrained. She is a sweet, kind and gentle pup that is easy to care for. She is also current on all vaccinations. In concern for families with small children, we will not adopt a dog to a home with any child under the age of 5. This is due to the large size of Saint Bernards and the safety of your children. Our Saint Bernards are not aggressive or mean in any way, they can just knock down children easily. If you would like to visit our pups please contact St. Cloud's Rescue at www.stcloudsrescue.org or call 972-679-5319. The first step in adopting from St. Cloud's Rescue is to complete an application. The application may be found OUR WEBSITE at www.stcloudsrescue.org. Please click on the application process, complete and then email it. Once the application has been sent please call us to confirm that we have received it. St.Cloud's Rescue maintains the right to deny applications to anyone for any reason we see fit. St. Cloud Rescue is a non-profit 501-c-3 organization. St. Clouds Rescue requires new owners to purchase a one year supply of heartworm preventative from us, which is at cost. We require a home visit prior to all placements. All our dogs must be microchipped at a cost of $20.00. There is a $350.00 donation fee. All dogs adopted through St Clouds Rescue must be indoors. Saint Bernards can not tolerate the Texas heat.

Story
Nana is the mother of Sullivan, the 7-month puppy. Both were found to be strays. Nana weighs approximately 110 pounds and has a beautiful rough coat. She is spayed, current on all vaccinations and heartworm negative. She does have an extra long tongue which she was either born with or it was due to trauma sometime in her life. It does not affect her ability to eat or drink, she just has a very long tongue. She is approximately 2-3 years old, has a great disposition and is ready and looking forward to finding a wonderful new forever-home. In concern for families with small children, we will not adopt a dog to a home with any child under the age of 5. This is due to the large size of Saint Bernards and the safety of your children. Story
Our Miss Scarlett is full of personality and guaranteed to keep you laughing every day. She came to us from southern Texas as a stray and has quickly stolen our hearts. Scarlet is about three years old, fully grown, and weighs in at a petite 80 pounds for a Saint Bernard—which often means a longer and healthier life with fewer joint issues than larger Saints. She’s a social butterfly who gets along wonderfully with all the dogs here at St. Clouds Rescue. Scarlett is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and heartworm negative—ready to head straight into her forever home! If you’ve been dreaming of a Saint Bernard who’s as cute as a button and full of joy, Miss Scarlett may just be the perfect match for you. She would be a great dog for a family or couple that has an active lifestyle and wanting to take their dog with them places. She would love meeting all kinds of people and being in an active role. Interested adopters can apply at www.stcloudsrescue.org and email the application to stcloudsrescue@yahoo.com, then follow up with Rosie at (972) 679-5319. We are located in McKinney Texas
