HI. My name is JADE and here is a little info about me:Breed: Ibizian Hound/Canaan Dog mixAge: 9 months (BD 1/20/2025)Gender: femaleWeight: 9 kgHeight: tbdCountry of origin: UAEHighlight(s): curious, brave, energetic, adventurous, outgoing I am going to be simply gorgeous, like my mama. Only a bit more wiggle and wags, because I am still just a puppy.Rescued from the streets of the United Arab Emirates, my mama, Jacqueline (also posted) was struggling to survive in a workshop in the industrial area. Cold, coated in machinery oil, and clinging to life, she had just two days earlier given birth beneath a semi truck. She was doing everything she could to shield us newborns from a world that had never shown her kindness. She was starving, shivering and purely in survival mode. Ten tiny lives depended on her. She tried to protect us, didn’t sleep— just prayed for morning and tried to find food. And then, finally… help came. They took mama and all us babies from the cruel and lonely streets for a second chance. Seven of us survived, sadly two of my siblings passed away. We are all beautiful and sweet just like our mama. Finding homes in my country is hard. 2 of my siblings have found homes, the rest of us are waiting.I may be small, but I’ve got big explorer energy! I’m the first to peek around corners, sniff new things, and pounce on crunchy leaves like they’re treasure. Life is one big adventure—and I’m always ready for the next one! I’m curious, brave, and a little bit sassy (in the cutest way, of course ). I love zoomies, tail wags, and then crashing into your lap when I’m all tuckered out. I love other doggies, and play with the resident cat. I haven’t met children, but I am sure we would love each other. While I am learning about walking on a leash as a young puppy, I will still need patience and positive reinforcement. I am a typical puppy learning about the world around me and how to be a big girl. Oh, and I give the best puppy kisses—guaranteed. So, let's get started on our new life adventures together. Energy Level: moderate - highI get along with:Dogs: yesCats: unknown, rescuer states yes, but no videoKids: unknown, likely, as I am a puppy yet, no video proof Fears: none observed. Please be patient assisting me in my transition.Training:Leash skills: no. Please be prepared to train me.House trained: in progress. Please help me learn! Health notes:I am too young yet to be spayed/neutered, but I am vaccinated & microchipped. Spay/neuter will be the responsibility of the adopter and is required for my adoption to be finalized. My adoption fee is $850.00 CAD plus applicable taxes. This includes my transportation to Canada, if I am able to be accompanied by a flight volunteer directly to Vancouver. Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue. Please Note: LALDR highly encourages adopters to research some local dog trainers before their dog arrives. Although a 1-on-1 trainer is often not needed, it is good to have someone in mind in case any problematic behaviours arise. Most bad behaviours can be modified if caught early enough, so make sure to nip undesirable behaviours in the bud before they become serious problems.Basic training should be taken seriously, but should not begin until your dog is well settled in - at least a couple of weeks. After you feel your new dog is relaxed and comfortable in their new home, check out training courses in your local area. Even basic beginner courses like those taught at a local pet store can have a huge benefit in helping your dog learn to socialize and get used to being in public situations, all with the added benefit of strengthening their bond with you. Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. However if a dog has been determined to be good with children we will approve applicants with children 8 years or older. More information can be found on our website. The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs.Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters. LALDR does not have access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person adopting them and the environment in which they live. While most dogs find escorting passengers flying directly to Vancouver, some will find flights through Toronto or  Montreal. In that case, additional fees will apply to fly your dog to Vancouver by cargo. Unaccompanied cargo costs within Canada range from $350 - $550 depending on the size of the dog. LALDR will be as transparent as possible with you regarding these costs. You will NOT be asked to pay a passenger fee on top of the cargo fee. [MID-EAST] *Vaccinations: Dogs from the Middle East are vaccinated for rabies, parvo, distemper, leptospirosis, adenovirus type 1 and para-influenza. Bordetella is not given, as that has not been a problem in the Middle East.[TURKEY] Dogs from Turkey receive a 4D SNAP test to include Leishmania, Heartworm, Ehrlichia, & Anaplasma, as well as Giardia, Parvo, Corona & Distemper. ##2437046##

Good day. My name is JAMES and here is a little info about me:Breed: Ibizian Hound/Canaan Dog mixAge: 9 months (BD 1/20/2025)Gender: maleWeight: 8 kgHeight: tbdCountry of origin: UAEHighlight(s): inteligent, observant, people-focused, sweet, social I’m the brainy pup of the pack—and proud of it! Ever the observant boy, ready to learn.Rescued from the streets of the United Arab Emirates, my mama, Jacqueline (also posted) was struggling to survive in a workshop in the industrial area. Cold, coated in machinery oil, and clinging to life, she had just two days earlier given birth beneath a semi truck. Finding homes in my country is hard. 2 of my siblings have found homes, the rest of us are waiting.I love learning new things, especially when there’s a yummy treat waiting at the end (food is my love language), so very food motivated. But I love people just as much as food. I am good with other doggies and also play with the resident cat (though no video proof.) I haven’t met children yet, but my two already adopted siblings are in homes with kids and do great, I'm sure I will also.Listening closely when you talk to me— I will tilt my head, perk up my ears, and try my very best to understand.I want to make you happy. Whether it’s learning a new trick, cuddling on the couch, or just being your little shadow, I’m always ready to be your best friend. I do need to work on leash training and still perfecting house training, but once in a home it will go quick. (I live with my siblings and it’s hard, but I use the tray like a good boy.)I am like any puppy who just needs to perfect a few things, all I need is patience and lots of positive reinforcement... and treats of course. If you're looking for a sweet, smart, people-loving pup who listens with his heart… I'm your guy. With love and a wag, awaiting your call. It’s my signature move. Just ask my doggy buddies—I’m always the one starting playtime. I love other dogs so much and make instant best friends. I also play with the cat that lives where I am. I haven’t met children yet, but am sure I will do good. I am working to perfect the house-training bit - doing great and almost there. Like my siblings I will need leash training with a secure collar & harness, so I feel safe as I learn my new world. After playtime, I’m the first to flop down for a nap, preferably right next to you. They do their own thing… one up, one down, sometimes both sideways, they are fabulous ears just like my mom’s.As a puppy, I am still learning to perfect house training, but as I stay right now with 4 other pups it is hard at times. Once I have my own home, it will pick it up quickly, just like my two siblings who found homes. Story
Hello. I'm RINALDO (Rio) and here is a little info about me:Breed: Ibizian Hound/Canaan Dog mix (Wadi dog)Age: 3 yrsGender: maleWeight: 33 lbsCountry of origin: OmanHighlights: loves affection, shy, easily trainable, sensitive, vigilant, curious, calm I am a good boy in the house and can be left on my own with no issues. Quite the gentleman actually. I ride exceptionally well in a car too.Rescued at the beginning of 2023 when I was about two months old, I was found alone on the streets in Oman with my two sisters struggling to survive. Our beautiful trio were taken in by a local rescuer who then noticed that my front legs were growing abnormally. A vet's visit confirmed that I needed surgery, ulnar osteotomy on each forelimb, which was done in August 2023 and I recovered well. Then, in May 2024, I started limping, so I had a second surgery on both legs to repair them again. Now, I'm in a different foster home where I am recovering very well. Here is a new vid show my progress and improvement this far: https://youtube.com/shorts/fypzHrGGREE.Though my nature is one of shy nervousness with strangers (I may nervous growl talk at first, but never any aggression), once I get to know and trust you, I am happy, happy, joy, joy for affection. You'll be amazed what a quick learner I am too.Despite startling easily (though improving), I am really a calm kinda guy. I just lack confidence yet is all, thus I am ever vigilant. With gentle reassurance, I feel safe and relax. Time will be the biggest factor for me to learn to feel secure.I am currently in a foster home with two female dogs who I adore. I would really benefit from a home with other dogs, as I really enjoy their company. My first foster home had cats and I ignored them, so they should be okay fur siblings too. I haven't experience with young children, but older dog savvy kids should be fine.If I had to say a best home for me, it would be with a family who is patient and kind, allowing me time to adjust. Ideally, with a doggie sibling(s.) Having a yard would be really spectacular and maybe in a more rural or quiet location.I am completing my healing presently and should be ready to wing my way to you soon. I am currently in a cast, but it doesn't slow me down any.The vet has stated the right leg correction greatly helped my elbow and posture and the same is hoped for my healing left leg. I do have a plate in each leg. He stated this has fixed things, but I should be evaluated again at a later date to see if anything further can/should be done, but at this point, I'm good. The surgery they did was called a radius and ulna valgus repair (osteotomy.)I am such a good boy, I really hope you see my lovely spirit within. [MID-EAST] *Vaccinations: Dogs from the Middle East are vaccinated for rabies, parvo, distemper, leptospirosis, adenovirus type 1 and para-influenza. Bordetella is not given, as that has not been a problem in the Middle East.[TURKEY] Dogs from Turkey receive a 4D SNAP test to include Heartworm, Ehrlichiosis, Leishmania and Anaplasmosis. ##2251004##
