Story
I got Wyatt 5 years ago as a 4mo old puppy. My brother and his then-wife regularly fostered dogs and when they had a new one I would often help out. Teaching the dogs sit, stay, go in (your crate), and how to walk on a leash to help them be more adoptable. Wyatt struggled to get adopted, often staying out for a few days and coming back from families. Basically, he would thrive where he was the only dog of someone without kids. He is ok with children, but he has snout punched many who want to be too close to him. He can be cuddly, but frequently growls if you are too close or change positions. He is a wonderful dog and I love him. However my wife and I are trying to have a baby and I just do not trust him with small children (<10yo). I would love for him to find someone who loves their daily walks/runs and has love for a dog who wants to be near, but not too near.
