I am needing to urgently rehome my 8 yr old Irish setter due to loss of income and having to leave my house. She is house trained, very sweet and overall a great dog. She does very well with other animals and kids. She was bought from a private breeder in Virginia 8 years ago.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Please contact Michelle (dogzinneed@yahoo.com) for more information about this pet.   Meet Shylo, named for being both shy and low-key, but underneath that timid exterior is a sweet natured, enthusiastuic puppy with a huge heart. He’s shy at first, but affectionate once he feels safe. With his cute ear tufts, fluffy tail, and long legs, he loves to run and go on short jogs. Shylo came from a rough start and is still learning that people and new places are safe. His foster has helped him gain confidence through gentle training, and he’s come a long way. He’s calm when carried and enjoys quiet walks in low-traffic areas. He’s food-motivated and should be fed slowly, as he tends to eat too fast. Shylo is potty trained, but needs easy yard access since he’s too shy to signal when he needs to go. After meals, he’s full of zoomies and loves to play chase, dig, or chew on toys. Tito is a totally gorgeous fellow with a reddish medium length coat who looks like an Irish setter/ Golden Retriever blend. He is a very calm and loving fellow – he’s wonderful with other dogs, delightful with children, and gets along perfectly well with all my kitties. Tito is about 3 to 4 years old and weighs 50 pounds full grown – he will not get any bigger. Tito never barks- he’s the quietest, most mellow, tolerant, and calm dog I have ever fostered. Tito would make a fabulous family buddy because he’s good with everyone – small children, teens, and both men and women. Tito never wonders outside of the yard and loves to be with his people. He is SO sweet and gentle – a real love-dog! Tito is completely housebroken, excellent with other dogs and with cats, and he loves everyone. Tito bonds beautifully – he really loves his people and wants to hang out all the time. He is content to sleep quietly beside me as I watch a movie and his favorite place is beside the bed at night. Of course, he’s neutered and is up to date on all of his annual shots. He’s a perfectly healthy, happy, extremely good-looking rascal, and I have his medical records to pass on to his new family. He’d make a wonderful little buddy for you and your family. I am a firm believer is having potential adopters take a pup home for a “sleepover” to see how your family, your other pets, and your new best buddy all get along. We always take our rascals back if it isn’t a good fit.
