Meet Shylo, named for being both shy and low-key, but underneath that timid exterior is a sweet natured, enthusiastuic puppy with a huge heart. He’s shy at first, but affectionate once he feels safe. With his cute ear tufts, fluffy tail, and long legs, he loves to run and go on short jogs. Shylo came from a rough start and is still learning that people and new places are safe. His foster has helped him gain confidence through gentle training, and he’s come a long way. He’s calm when carried and enjoys quiet walks in low-traffic areas. He’s food-motivated and should be fed slowly, as he tends to eat too fast. Shylo is potty trained, but needs easy yard access since he’s too shy to signal when he needs to go. After meals, he’s full of zoomies and loves to play chase or chew on toys. He’d do best in a calm home with older kids or adults, a secure yard, and access to quiet walking spots or a dog beach once he’s ready. She is best as an only dog. She needs to get some exercise and lose some weight. She pulls on the leash, and will need someone with dog experience.

Story
Hi, I’m Ember, a 2-year-old golden mix with a gentle heart and a calm, warm, and loving soul. I ended up in a shelter in Georgia after being found as a stray with another dog, but Angel Dog Alliance rescued me and gave me a second chance. I can be a little timid at first, but it doesn't take me long to warm up to you, and come on over for scrathes and cuddles! When you look at me, my tail starts to wag and I lean in for snuggles. I love giving kisses and being close.  I weigh about 50 pounds, have soft fluffy fur, and I’m always looking for love and someone I can give all my love back to. I’d be happiest in a home where someone is around most of the time because I just want to be near my people. I’m calm, gentle, and love a quiet day filled with belly rubs and cuddles. I’m learning to walk nicely on a leash and working on basic obedience. I don’t jump or pull, and I try my best to be a good girl every single day. I’m spayed, fully vaccinated, and had my teeth cleaned so I’ve got bright pearly whites. I’m also receiving my heartworm treatment, which Angel Dog Alliance is taking care of completely. I’m hoping to spend my first real Christmas with a family of my own, so I can be wrapped in love. I’m calm, kind, and ready to belong. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will love you endlessly and stay close by your side, I’m waiting for you. ##2537445##
